Instead of taping the magnet on the short lance - I just put a magnet on the gun on the side where it feels the magnet - Plus I can remove it too if I don't want it on - the magnet just holds it self on.

How did i not see this. Had the 20v and 40v for about 2 years. I use mine primarily to clean wheels and also spot free rinse my cars. Just waiting for the new ultra to offer tool only. Already have many batteries.

omg, fvkin brilliant! excuse my french. youre a genius. I use this to clean my shower and I'm small too, so i find the longer wand so unwieldy and unbalanced. This is a game changing hack for me. Thank you!! I just wished you showed what the magnet tip you used looked like, bc I'm just a normal gal, and have no clue what it is. but i'll show this video to the store clerks. Thanks again!!

You should check out the newer one WG644 also the psi ratings are only for using a garden hose not when siphoning so your getting less pressure than 325.

I don't like the new one - it doesn't have a short lance so you always have to use the long lance. Also you have to have 2 20v batteries - so more batteries to go bad. They already make a 40v battery - they should have used that one. Even though it has more PSI - it's a step backwards IMHO/

Yes, that is why he showed it in the owners manual. 325 is with the hose attached, 175 when you dont have it attached.

try attach 2x 4AH batteries to your WG644, it would be as heavy as a machine gun. LOL

Not too sure if the "E" stands for European version. But the WG629E; E.1; E.9; E.91 all have the same pressure max of 22bar =320psi with no distinction between long or short wand. So they must have done an upgrade but left the hole in the long wand.

the decimal number is not related to upgrade version. it only shows different accessories in that package
E does not refer to European, China market also sells version of same name
320psi by default only achieved if you use the long wand attached

Hi, thank you for the tip.
I have hydroshot WG629E.91 and the long wand have hole but without ball magnet.
and still the preesure on the long and short wand are the same is max powerful when I push button H or increase pressure in "L".

@@petertips2686 take a look at the mfg date. 2018 onwards models come without a magnet.

The multispray tip vroke on.mine when the gun fell off the wall and hit the concrete floor in.my garage. So, I bought a bag of 5 on ebay of multicolored spray tips with standard 1/4" connect and connected the white 40 ° and it works. So I dont need the original.

Please tell me. Is this not dangerous for the device?

Why would they have the shorter one have less PSI???? Any idea folks?

    • @Shadogi
      @Shadogi 5 лет назад +6

It almost certainly because people using the shorter wand are using it for more sensitive things whereas the longer one is going to be for big stuff like cars where you won't damage anything. Still seems silly to limit it like that though.
