I spotted some inaccuracies. The plural of Typhon is Typhon. As for where Phantoms come from, them being created by mimics is an interesting theory, but it's just that, a theory. I don't think unnamed Phantoms being present on the station confirms your theory. The only confirmed method to create Phantoms we know of is for Weavers to encounter a husk, otherwise known as a corpse. Additionally, Phantoms don't mimic human speech; the game explains their random snippets as basically leftovers or echoes from the time that they were human. So perhaps you're right and a bit of phantoms are still human biology, but it's likely to be less than 10 percent.
