I ve watched the series 3 times before and a 4th time thanks to your enjoyable commentary. I've gotta say, the amount of information you provide is somewhat reminding of house, not sure if you can even know more but man, you always had something to add about anything came up in the series.

I think when you've finished watching House; you should do a ranking on how accurate the final diagnosis would be to real life.
I have a feeling this episode would be somewhere right down the bottom in terms of accuracy XD
Only guessing 6% estimated from the avarage amount of kids with dyslexia in my classes
I have some dyslexia even though i work as an engineer so i think there are way more people with this problem then we think, and isn't HIV passed with blood?

Wow, I'm surprised at how inaccurate this episode is. It wasn't even during the writer's strike, iirc. Crazy.

Yes Doctor, you are right. But shows have always bent the facts- its the fun of the hunt: the SPIRIT of the thing that mattered in that show. It did that for me. I don’t recall a single diagnosis Dr House came up with-but i really absorbed an attitude of not living in straight lined- so important. And the fact of his grumpiness and imperfection (and addiction) only lowered people’s simplistic ideas about the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ people. It served great purposes. It taught that people could remember-they’re allowed (as humans in this far too politically correct, controlling , spirit -crushing-mother type of culture ) to think outside the square. We are forgetting that human trait and it’s almost not allowed. This is evil. This show was about that- more than more facts. Something else:, i don’t mean to be rude, but would love to add- you’re a talented doctor obviously who see things. I got a lot out if your short on the meth addict lady who doctors failed to check for autoimmune. Im a (now sober) serious alcoholic and drug addict. I put a comment in. I reckon you could tell ys so many mite things than disputing Dr House a tv show (even though you definitely got it all right about the show - that’s why I can see your good eye). And because I propose -(as delineated above) - thats there’s a deeper and greater use for doctor house in this time if awful feminised control. (Im a 62 year old woman by the way).
