girl, I'm starting at 26. By 13 your knees still work, so it's fine (mine don't, but I'm trying xD) It's not really late for your body, it's just that other kids were lucky to have parents who guessed their interests xD I'm personally doing Broadway Jazz (I think the difference is that the movements are sharper and more energetic than regular Jazz). Tbh, I haven't found many differences between contemporary and Jazz, but I think Jazz is a it more fun, it brings stuff from classical and makes it modern ;) I think it's also a good genre to start, since it gives you the technique you could use for many different styles, it's like a bridge :)

Too fast, just like beginning jazz classes in person you teachers expect a novice to just jump in and do this. A ball change is something I learned in tap, but certainly not going to string all this together on the first try. I’ll look for other instruction, I don’t want to keep pausing and backing up!😝

I've searched for "swing begginer class". Why do i see videos about pop-ballet-like dances? Not pirouettes, but throwing limbs. Not what i wanted, RUclips!
same it was like she told you the move and put the music on, which is way faster then what she was going. i wanted to do this cause i’m a beginner like the video said, but my “beginner” brain needs some time to comprehend what to do and adapt to the tempo
