How to import PCB Libraries files (asc and step) in Proteus 8.8? The method in the video was valid for older versions of Proteus when the Library menu had the command "Import Package", now replaced by "Import parts". This one permits only to import these files: PADS LIBRARY V9 (*.p *.zip) BSDL (*.bsdl *.bsd) PCB Library Expert (*.p) Samacsys (*.p *.zip) SnapEDA Downloads (*.snapeda) Ultra Librarian (*.p *.zip) All Files (*.*) Please help, thank you.
We downloaded and installed the latest version of Proteus CAD tool but can't figure out how to import data. Can you send the step by step instructions to PCB Libraries so we can update our instructions for Importing calculated patterns into Proteus? support at pcblibraries dot com. @@tomhausherr6527 In prior versions of Proteus like 8.5, you could easily import data generated by PCB Libraries (asc and step files) going to ARES, then Library menu, drop down and select "Import Package", upload files, done. Not anymore with version 8.8! This procedure is different in 8.8, you can import data by Snapeda but not by PCB Libraries, there's no way to import asc and step files anymore, too bad :-(
