Carla Bruni is a successful singer and songwriter with a music career that has spanned over two decades. She has released six albums and sold over five million records. She is celebrated as a fashion icon with a modelling career that has seen her grace the cover of Vogue titles worldwide, and she has worked with several of the worlds best designers including Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Givenchy and Prada. She is also a committed philanthropist. Among her many supports to charitable causes, she launched the Carla Bruni-Sarkozy Foundation to provide access to culture and education to disadvantaged populations in 2009. She was an Ambassador for the protection of Women and children to the Global Fund Against Aids Tuberculosis and Malaria initiatives.
Carla is respected for her ability to gracefully balance numerous roles in her life. As a mother and wife, and throughout her tenure as First Lady, she has remained inspiring; always combining her personal responsibilities with her professional aspirations.
