Thank you for this video .. excellent explanation and animation. My questions to you are regarding pressure heads achievable in a multi-stage centrifugal pump and are as follows:->> Since the input to output flow rate of the liquid is unaffected and kinetic energy of the fluid is dynamically exchanged for pressure head build up .. Q1:->> Assuming unlimited motive torque is available what limits can be applied to the pressure head achieved in terms of pump stages and does there come a PRACTICAL point, (for a given liquid, say water), where adding more pump stages makes very little difference to final output pressure head? (Diminishing Returns). Q2:->> What sort of pressure heads are achievable ... >10 BAR? >100 BAR? > 1000 BAR? It is understood that other constraints will effect the maximum pressure head achievable, (seals etc.), but my question, (Q2), is asked on the basis of the "centrifugal pump working principal" alone. That is to say the theoretical limit. An answer from you would be appreciated and once again, thank you for the upload.
Main products: sealing gasket, gland packing,PTFE/graphite/asbestos products, ceramic fiber products, high temperature heat insulation and fireproof material. The multistage pump u have shown is actually an multi impeller pump or a centrifugal compressor and in a multistage pump there should be a heat exchanger inbetween every stage
What about axial flow pumps sir ,is there any link available in your web site, please share to me .I want go with both centrifugal and axial flow pumps.
@@HardHatEngineer Low vapour pressure is actually advantageous. High vapour pressure is not desired. Cavitaion happens when pressure drops below vapour pressure. Therefore when vapour pressure is very low, too much drop in fluid pressure is req to cause cavitation.

Hi, I think you should check again with some good reference. It is not the way you are saying.
Sir which pump is used for edible oil flow at different speed for pouch packing machine
It is flexible flow centrifugal pump.
