You didn't know you could play more than 1 instrument at the same time in Ableton? Ableton is what brought me to your channel lol... at least now you know! You can layer as many tracks to play in unison as you want. I do it all the time to create new sounds.
Hahaa mate, I’ve never had a reason to play two things at the same time😅 if I want them playing at the same time I just solo both tracks and play aha even though I now know you can do that I still probably won’t ever use it🤭
I use kontakt instruments like this and layer multiple instruments and create my own sound. I recently layered a music box with a vibraphone and a glockenspiel and it sounded so cool!

I layer stuff too but just stick them on different tracks and press play with the same midi aha never played them on keyboard at same time I can see why people would though and of course in a Kontakt library they’ll be pretty cool too, a lot of Native instrument play series is essentially the “A” layer and the “B” layer (2 sounds) playing at the same time….

I just have to throw in a random comment about the life plugin from XLN. It's 50% off and I finally bit on it after doing a long demo. Created a really fun workflow and it is absolutely worth it. What surprised me is that the midi that you create is as helpful and important as the sounds.
The Crow Hill Vaults free instruments are left up for six months and a new one is added every month. I've been downloading them since #1 (Crow Hill is the company Christian Henson set up after he and Spitfire Audio parted company)
I was able to download the Vaults Beta the other day, but I can’t run the Crow Hill app on my laptop to get their other plugins, including this one. Do you have any idea on why the app wouldn’t be able to run?
@@BrotherMalMusichi mate, I have no idea why that would be happening. I have it on Mac and I just run the installers and it works fine. Only thing o can suggest is to contact them or maybe look through their FAQs for a solution….
I cannot figure it out either. I downloaded the app and got it to open up on my desktop and then signed in the crow hill companies website and it won't let me add any vault instruments the cart and check out. It only shows the "free" button and that opens up a youtube video. I've been frustratingly trying everything for an hour haha. I messaged the company. We will see.

@@sideshow4463 they replied and said click the plus + button beside play on the vault page and I’m like “I don’t have a plus button” and literally went back and it was there for me. So I added to my cart and checked out for free and downloaded it on the app. Tried to download a second one and it said my computer was out of space..I was like what!? So I went to try out the one that worked in my Daw Reason and Reason won’t open at all. It’s never done this before. It says it can’t find plugins and the scratch disc folder is missing and one other error. Instead of letting me relocate them, my software won’t even open up now. I have no idea if there’s a correlation there but I’ve never had this issue. I’m gonna be messing with my iMac tonight and try to get it working correctly. Smh if it’s not one thing, it’s another haha
I never thought anyone would be stupid enough to copy Disney's "vault" BS. Can you imagine spending time and money creating a product and then telling people, "no, you're not allowed to get it" (especially in Disney's case, when it's a paid-for product)? It's insanity. If I created something that I thought was good, I would want everyone to get it.
