I hope everyone appreciates the fact that you tie each phase of the life cycle!!! No one else is doing that! It’s not just a ‘this is a cool fly’........it’s a set up to get you thru an entire hatch without having to google what the next bug to fail with!
Glad you find it useful! Trying to keep the video ideas fresh and interesting. If you ever think I am missing something or want to see something in particular please let me know.
@@AlexJardineFlyFishing thanks - I’m banned from chopping up deer hair in the house, though! Bit harsh considering the mess the kids make, but I know my place.

Good Job Son! Proud of you ...DadX
Thanks dad! Will get you on for one of the videos soon x
Nicely done!
Great video
Thanks Alex 👏🏻👏🏻
Brilliant. Never occurred to me to mix cdc into dubbing. I shall have a crack at that. Like the way you’ve gone through each stage too. Good stuff.
Thanks Charlie! The CDC is a useful mix, as is deer hair if you chop it up finely enough, although that can be a bit too bulky on the smaller flies.

@@Fishwish 😂 it is definitely a note of contention... I do make an offer to hoover afterwards but that is met with equal disdain
Thank You ✨🎣💫
Thank you for sharing more great patterns and tips
Thanks again for watching Eric! The emerger was working really well for me on Saturday.
great flies and videos but i am more impressed that you have managed to use the stonefly bobbin holder without breaking it! its witchcraft surely ?
Thanks Graham! Trust me, I have broken my fair share of them! That said I do enjoy tying with them although it’s getting hard to find intact ones...
I am hoping to give the Smhaen bobbin holder a go soon in comparison to my Rite one
Hi What sizes do you tie the Glenns's merger in please?
Hi Davey, generally I tie them in a size 16-20, but depending on your local hatches sizes 14, 22 and 24 can be useful too.
Upticked, but crikey, Alex, that session is grossly over-stuffed with ADs and pop-ups. That's not ALL of RUclipss doing.
Thanks for the comment, and sorry about the adverts. Certainly not intended - will see if I can reduce them.
