- Selling on Amazon using FBM can be easy in 2023/2024 once you understand how selling on Amazon actually works, in this beginner guide I will give you the simple understanding of what you need to know when it comes to selling on Amazon using Amazon FBM as a complete beginner.
There is two main ways of selling on Amazon. The first way is by Amazon FBA, Which is fulfilled by amazon. Amazon FBA is where Amazon will fulfil the orders directly to your customers once you make a sale.
The second way of how you can sell on Amazon, is with FBM, which stands for Fulfilled by merchant. This is where you can list products on Amazon as an individual and ship out the products yourself so that you don't necessarily need to pay for any Amazon storage fees when it comes to doing Amazon FBA

Hello, thank you for the informative video. I had a question regarding the packaging envelope. Amazon usually has their white package envelope, can we purchase our customized packaging envelope and send to customer with FBM?

My question is,if you choose Amazon to ship your orders how much are you paying Amazon for shipping? I don't mind holding some inventory at my house but I'm guessing you would need to mark up the price to be able to ship it yourself.
Depends on the weight and dimensions. You save on the fulfillment free from amazon so will usually make more profit per sale if you ship yourself

Hi Sam, I am ungatting on amazon, and I just created my own listed . I bought a UPC code from Gs1 but then it's saying the SKU does not match any ASIN or invalide attribute for creating a new ASIN. Am I doing something wrong?
