man...if I gathered anything from CP's coaching style it is this: 1) you better come and compete to dominate everyday. 2) you better know your assignment and know what your opponent is doing 3) you better study and break down film like a pro ......OR you ain't gonna make it at CU. Having said that, this is what I see from the outside looking in: 1. Cormani: Someone told him he was better than he currently is and that he doesn't need to work or listen to coaches to be better. With his size and athleticism he has great upside and can def be a pro but he needs to perfect his craft. A great example is CALEB DOWNS...another freshman who, had he been eligible, for the draft would have probably been the 1st or 2nd DB taken in the upcoming NFL draft. By watching his film you can tell he puts in the film work and the weight work. Cormani is going to go to another power 5 and quickly find out that they aint gonna put up with no nonsense...because there are 4 guys just as good as you and 1 or 2 guys way better than you. on those teams. 2. Alton: lack of patience. You are coming of a major injury now finally healthy. I''m sure him and Dylan would have gotten the majority of the carries. I mean, do you have to be RB1 ...no. most teams feature two backs. Secondly, you are not as explosive as Dylan. You don't create a mismatch in the flats against LB's. Alton may go to a mid major and there find the success he is looking for but he may look back on his decision and realize it was a mistake. 3. The rest of the transfers are backups or scout teamers. No serious pro prospects there. If they can transfer and get a little NIL money ...good for them. 4. Coach Prime. heart for the kids and passion for coaching. He needs to continue to perfect his craft as a coach and mentor. And stop being so defensive with the media in boulder.

Micah Welch is running back 1, big 12 ain’t soft. Dylan is our fast back when we need him. Alto is injury prone and I can see why coaches ain’t want him starting. Welch is a true hitter.

That deserves a scholarship offer instead of being used but praised. - #4 Is really good at creating space and making tough catches. - Sapp looks comfortable out there coaching. I thought he was going to be over the top and extra but no he’s really teaching out there. - I like that catch by #13. Going up and getting the rock like a 6 footer. - Nice to see the hard workers getting recognized in the circle.
I would love to see Dylan stretch the play using his speed and agility vs going to the sidelines/OOB. …. Once he start keeping the play live and extending the run/play he’s going to be a real threat !!!!! Like Bush at USC , he always would cut in towards where most of the the open field at so he can make moves !! I love see that vs just letting the play end on a simple run or catch …. make guys miss and stay in bound !!!

man...if I gathered anything from CP's coaching style it is this: 1) you better come and compete to dominate everyday. 2) you better know your assignment and know what your opponent is doing 3) you better study and break down film like a pro ......OR you ain't gonna make it at CU.
Having said that, this is what I see from the outside looking in:
1. Cormani: Someone told him he was better than he currently is and that he doesn't need to work or listen to coaches to be better. With his size and athleticism he has great upside and can def be a pro but he needs to perfect his craft. A great example is CALEB DOWNS...another freshman who, had he been eligible, for the draft would have probably been the 1st or 2nd DB taken in the upcoming NFL draft. By watching his film you can tell he puts in the film work and the weight work.
Cormani is going to go to another power 5 and quickly find out that they aint gonna put up with no nonsense...because there are 4 guys just as good as you and 1 or 2 guys way better than you. on those teams.
2. Alton: lack of patience. You are coming of a major injury now finally healthy. I''m sure him and Dylan would have gotten the majority of the carries. I mean, do you have to be RB1 ...no. most teams feature two backs. Secondly, you are not as explosive as Dylan. You don't create a mismatch in the flats against LB's. Alton may go to a mid major and there find the success he is looking for but he may look back on his decision and realize it was a mistake.
3. The rest of the transfers are backups or scout teamers. No serious pro prospects there. If they can transfer and get a little NIL money ...good for them.
4. Coach Prime. heart for the kids and passion for coaching. He needs to continue to perfect his craft as a coach and mentor. And stop being so defensive with the media in boulder.

Not everyone is cut out to be a winner......today it is rare. too much entitlement, want constant praise....puff up and EXPLODE,,,,,,, They have the master and they just dont connect.......shame........Coach wants his boys to be successful, everywhere, not just on the field. These years go by too fast and then you face LIFE with no Coach P there.

Micah Welch is running back 1, big 12 ain’t soft. Dylan is our fast back when we need him. Alto is injury prone and I can see why coaches ain’t want him starting. Welch is a true hitter.

- #44 been pretty consistent. That deserves a scholarship offer instead of being used but praised.
- #4 Is really good at creating space and making tough catches.
- Sapp looks comfortable out there coaching. I thought he was going to be over the top and extra but no he’s really teaching out there.
- I like that catch by #13. Going up and getting the rock like a 6 footer.
- Nice to see the hard workers getting recognized in the circle.
