Me and my buddy were just passing by C0 and my friend picked like C1 ARS and it was fricking him out all the way until we fortunately found some potassium pills. And some phoenix tears, lol.
Now I know how much prep work we need to do to raid that place.
Imo, it looks like it doesn't really worth the risk, although it's somewhat safer than the usual bunker raiding, considering that not a lot of people will go around C0.

Kinda an old vid but, once you Decon with soap and swim and have no more radiation, peeing helps a lot more than you may realize, chugging and keeping your stomach full of water and you did all the other steps you will pee out the rest of the radiation passively just by keeping lots of water in your system.. so to recap, decon, swim, and pee, peeing makes it go down tremendously once it’s working it’s way out of your system! Half of what is said in this guide is purely opinion and not tested truth bro within first few mins we get some bs " backpack won't get infected with a suit on wtf kinda random untrue info is that it will infect anything you have period suit or not

Just a heads up:
There is 2 types of radiation, that is clustered into 1 visual representation in the health screen. you have Internal and External radiation. external radiation is all the items you wear and can decon. internal radiation is stuff you breath/eat. to get rid of it, it takes time/water etc. to reduce internal radiation, you need to wear a mask, gas mask has the best defense for this. external radiation can be cleaned by washing. all items receive external radiation while in the radiation zone. hazmat suit counts as protection from both internal and external radiation.
the less time your in a radiation area, the less contamination you get. so be quick when in the radiation zone. also, minimize personal entering the zone if you can. if you only have 1 hazmat suit in a squad, have the rest of your squad wait outside providing overwatch with sniper rifles at the loot drop point.
you can also just give a squad mate a backpack and a gas mask and send them in to die to get the items you want from the POI.
the less items you bring in, the less you have to clean when you get out.

Man, this makes me really happy that when I decided to go, I was EXTREMELY cautious when I was getting uranium for the first time lol. I made out with like 8 uranium and since it was only transferred to my backpack, it wasn't contaminated. I'm pretty sure that isn't suppose to happen, but I am happy I never got too irradiated! Next time I am definitely making sure I have phoenix tears next time though just in case lol.
Yes or just never take off the Hazmat till you have sold everything you looted in there

Did you see any difference in healing between fresh and salt water?
would antibiotics help taking them beforehand, they boost your imune system a lot?

Didn't see any difference in water or salt water and yes the suit would have helped a bit from where I got it but I would have still died because the suit you get in there is radiated remember so only clean suit helps you. My pleasure bud.

No tested all the medications you get as you saw in video but didn’t look for an extra doctor option no

just found more bunkers with anti radiation containers! it kinda makes sense but almost all bunkers in a circular radious outside of the power plant has them, some in and some out of the rad zone
also, 44:33 your jacket still had 0.8 radiation :3 and more than likely the weapons? i didnt get to see how to decontaminate or clean weapons from rad so am keeping them until 8-12 SV and then being extra carefull and mindfull of wich crate contains radiated stuff

the 1:50 snapshot showing the radiation zone is the only time I've seen the actual size of the zone. my map doesn't show this.

oh my , sec..i was thinking in the car inventory bugs but i dont need it can just drive to a better spot and do what u did okok thats another history ,anyway will try ND hope not being trapped by a bear in a garage again ,radiation is less funny but better death 😂so lets see how it goes 👍
So maybe someone asked already or maybe I missed it but what happens if you drive in the Radiation does everything in the cars inventory get radiation as well and does the car get radiation too?

so i went on the edge of the power plant zone. I now have 1.0sv. How do i get rid of this? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Drink a lot of water and pee a lot and drink Potassium if you can

This just makes me not want to bother at all. I can get loads of money through normal looting so doing all of this, for some extra money, including looting for the suit etc... makes the new POI pointless for me, and actually lost another poi in the camp site aswell! Brilliant :/

@@Luthais yes it's a game but it's still time invested in said game and if they're going to give us "new content" that isn't fixing issues with core gameplay then one would hope that content was worth our time. So the OP is right. This is pointless content. There's literally no reason to go there except for uranium which doesn't even sell for that much anyways. Pointless content, pointless POI.
@@argonaut_jay it's early acess, devs said they are adding the content before they start fixing, they dont wanna fix things, add more content, then fix it with every new patch like alot of games. so far now, get used to * half built stuff * since ur just a beta tester rn.

Yes a car would be faster but attract a lot more puppets and players.

Dont wear the gear you took in there untill you wash it with soup or wait for the radiation to go away.
also if your gear is contaminated, can you irradiate others around you?
No only if they pick up your gear

Tried to sweat to get rid of radiation. Didn't work so ignore for now.
Got severe radiation poisoning with 0 notification and on my way to wash all my shit my vehicle fell through the map and shot me back up......I wont be playing this game again lol

Well if your ok with lockpicking you can get a Suit at B0 and then just get Uranium and go sell it with the suit on and thats that.
that zone is so useless, crap loot and all the problems with radiation.. I cant belive they spend time of making that area
