“Expressive and harmonic, delicate yet substantive” (Christian Science Monitor), Kazuo Ishiguro is the author of seven renowned novels, including A Pale View of Hills, When We Were Orphans, Never Let Me Go, and the Booker Prize-winning The Remains of the Day. The latter two books were adapted into popular and acclaimed films. In 1995 he received an Order of the British Empire for service to literature and in 1998 was named a Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Artes et Lettres by the French government. In The Buried Giant, Ishiguro’s first novel in nearly a decade, a couple journeys across an uneasy landscape in search of their erstwhile son.
Ishiguro is a wizard of literature. A wondrous being whose works continue to loom large in my mind as the greatest pieces of writing I’ve ever come across in my life.
Loved it, just finished the book. Ishiguro is wonderful!
K. Ishiguro is so interesting, could listen to him for hours.
Easily one of the most important authors of our time. Should be studied in schools.

Our credentialed classes are such buffoons. Nice to hear Ishiguro lecture us about Yugoslavia. Shame what really happened is that the usual suspects divided it up for their own ends. Im sure Kazuo would love it if I divided his house into 6 parts that I determined had 'seceded' and, if he protested, declared him a tyrannical racist, trauma, 2nd world war blah blah blah: ruclips.net/video/mkfNmmWeBa8/видео.html
