I got to agree for many things in your video.
I live in Finland and i drive around 3 months in the same conditions that you had. I have totally different idea about winter storm, it usually consists blizzard where you can see only 160feet and after that you have so much snow on the ground that you can't see the road.
But in any case. I have S205 with 135Hp and 400N torque, so i have somewhat similar looks on my car, but i lack the performance. The sandbag is great tip, also it should be said, that if you're stuck you should have a shovel to sand the road from the bag, or dig your car out of the snow.
Also cleaning up all the windows is major thing to do, and mercedes has really nice one button to have more heat to windscreen, that helps to get all ice off from the window.
If possible have a engine heater either electrical or webasto/eberspächer. Cold start for the engine when oil viscosity is thick, is really suboptimal. Also timing chain tensioner is having hard time in cold starts. So if you have worn out car, or want to help engine to last longer, preheat the engine. So what you said, that you should run and heat your car before use is really good tip. Also if you have automatic transmission, like most of people do. It would be wise to drive gently and let the transmission fluid to circulate and heat up.
Also, if you're driving short distances with your car you could have a radiator cover to actually preserve heat in the engine. If you don't heat up your oil properly, it starts to collect water and it isn't good. It is suggested that when temperature gets below +5C or 41F. But usually i'm more interested about that when the temperature is constantly below -10C or 14F. I hope the link opens up. And if not you can google "viimasuoja mercedes" For some reason "viimasuoja= wind protector" does not translate well enough.

And you were really right on the tyres, have only winter tyres(with studs), not all year ones. Sometimes mercedes is annoying with the traction control when you try to leave from intersection, so fast remedy is to just change comfort(old winter setting) to sport or sport+ that allows bit more wheelspin, so you can floor your car off(it is more fun too ;)). Usually it is wiser to use traction control to help to roll off from slippery spots, but sometimes it cuts too much power, and this way you don't need to entirely cut off the traction control.
RWD merc is really good all year car even in nordics, but it just needs premium tyres. In snow RWD is fun in slower speeds and AWD has more fun at faster speeds, but everyone has to remember that both of these cars stops as badly in ice.
I got to say, that ILS lights on merc are so nice. In here we have 5h of light in average day at december, so it is mostly dark.
Great idea to have something heavy at back to improve the winter performance
Thank you for the video. I am getting an S65 AMG for the winter because my BMW M6 competition is useless in the winter.
Thanks for the into / Intel
Much Love from South Africa

really excellent video
Keep goin! U're doing well!!!
Кирилл Зелинский thanks!
If you stock you have to turn the traction control off cuz you want the tires turn together and fast with traction control they not moving together
Drain water before you warm your car up, gets warmer quicker
Actually I have to counter your point the manual will tell you if you in a position your getting stuck push the button to get a little wheel spin not a ton but a little too try to dig in you don't want to go crazy and want to restore traction control when you're out of your situation
Being from the south I never have to deal with the snow
AMG TRND lucky you bro, its a pain in the arse here hahaa
