The AI cars get very clumped together at the start of a race, making passing difficult. Putting distance between you and the AI cars can make driving more smooth.

Eh, I learned how to split my attention. The dialogue almost always happens when very little is going on.
You just need to get used to it, i got used to it and i can read the dialogue and focus on racing at the same time

This game is for arcade only. But there's a game that has same name 'Wangan midnight'. It's definitely different.

Original Wangan Midnight was released in PS2 and PS3. Japan language only (maybe). But the gameplay is different than Maximum Tune
No official PC port. This game ran on Namco System ES1 but it'll take a long time to crack this game to be playable on domestic PCs.
