ElementZ Z the govt cares because they make a LOT of money 💰 adding it to everyone’s water. There’s been studies now that link fluoride inside our body with cancer. That said, it may help teeth 🦷 but that’s it.

Adding fluoride to water to protect teeth is like drinking sunscreen to protect our skin. Fluoride is topical if anything, and shouldn't be added to water.

    • @KnightRaymund
      @KnightRaymund 9 лет назад +89

Not the same thing. At all. When you ingest water it IS applying some fluoride to the teeth it's passing over.

      Not true at all.
Fluoride in toothpaste is effective in enamel strengthening, but it is ineffective in inhibiting bacterial acids which cause cavities. That is why it is important to consume fluoride in drinking water.

The FBI has been used over the years for many things by those leaders whom have proven to cause troubles and promote a general lack of peace. They have also done many helpful things because not everybody is apart of our present globalization troubles.
Understand that the mindset established over our years of manipulation has been one of liberalism, of ego, and they will be successful over us while we will be happy to comply because we get what we want out of it: verification of our so-called identities [YES...your ethnicity is AWESOME] and a promise of protection [including the thought that we avoided global catastrophe from their guidance].
However even though things/people are being shaken up via these attacks on our peace/mindset, know many people still are good in nature...some work for our Government and will record what goes on.
The Government is not bad but is necessary...it just becomes evil when We the People will not fight and/or cannot fight to hold those who are evil at bay. Things have gotten so out of hand that I'm pretty sure those new world order sorts are just waiting for some group to attack, and I'm sure they're ready to use them for their own gain. :(

Ok lets say that fluoride isnt as bad as people say it is, its still odd that they even put it in water anyway. Toothpaste strictly says not to swallow it and the main ingredient is fluoride. Why would we want this stuff in the water?? Why do we want anything in the water? We should push for pure water from both sides of this debate...

I always assumed it was because of the concentration, I thought “there’s way less fluoride in the drinking water than in the toothpaste”, but this guy’s is saying that there’s just as much fluoride in that tooth paste as there is in that cup of water. Sure, it’s more diluted in that cup of water and there are other ingredients besides fluoride in toothpaste that maybe you shouldn’t be ingesting all the time, but you’d think there would be more of a difference in concentration between “this is fine to drink all day, every day” and “spit this out or call poison control if you swallow any”.

@@kimjrkim2272 I am a biochemistry major and chemical engineering minor. The fluoride ion is unbound fluorine, its what occurs when thing like sodium fluoride, tin fluoride etc etc get mixed into solution because the ions get broken apart into their individual constituents; this property can be easily demonstrated in a 3.5 w/v water based sodium chloride solution, as the chlorine ions (Cl-) liberated from the sodium ions (Na+) oxidize metals such as iron and steel. Sodium fluoride, the most commonly used additive in water, breaks into sodium and fluoride ions; chemically, you can refer to them as fluorine ions as well.

@@JRG333 I can say with a pretty high degree of certainty that its not, not in the amounts that are consumed on a daily basis anyways. Personally though, I don’t think fluoride has a place in tap water in the developed world. There are benefits to using fluoride on your teeth, but that is already covered by fluoridated toothpastes. Where I am, there is about 2mg of Sodium Fluoride added per liter of water, which is a very tiny amount that is inconsequential. But fluoride is not harmless, and it’d be disingenuous of me to claim that it is; excess fluoride causes dental or skeletal fluorosis. The amount of fluoride necessary for this to happen is quite a lot, and you’d need to drink liters on liters of tap water to achieve it or eat multiple tubes of toothpaste, so its unlikely you’ll get it from those. The dose always makes the poison; Nicotine is a strong nerve agent but many people inhale that like air and don’t get severe/acute nicotine poisoning. Dosage is always the most important factor in what is and whats not a poison.

i went to a Private Dentist, a young guy, who quietly told me that you can repair the cavities in your enamel by eating the right foods, as long as fluoride isn't impeding the re-mineralisation. He referred me to how we evolved, nutritionally, and so the more natural our diet the better. I remember learning in school that calcium, phosphorous and vitamin d help lay down teeth and bone, from what I've gathered fluoride also interferes with it, and leaves your teeth looking like they have been in outer space! Of course fluoride displaces iodine in your thyroid because it is a halogen element, leading to multiple related health risks, eg. higher risk of cancer. Type in to RUclips "How fluoride can cause hypothyroidism" for a short video that explains halogen displacement by fluoride. It is such a pervasive element.

Here is just one of the endless examples of how fluoride may be affecting you.
Fluoride has been successfully prescribed by doctors to lower thyroid function in people with overactive thyroids(hyperthyroidism). The daily amount prescribed is the same as the daily amount people get from their drinking water in countries with fluoridated water(like the U.S.). Therefore, the amount of fluoride in drinking water will lower thyroid function in otherwise normal thyroid functioning ...people. in 2010, the second most prescribed drug of the year was Synthroid (sodium levothyroxine) which is a hormone replacement drug used to treat an underactive thyroid. Do you have an underactive thyroid? Some symptoms include depression, fatigue, weight gain, muscle and joint pains, increased cholesterol levels, heart disease, dry skin, thinning hair and impaired memory.

Sodium fluoride and calcium fluoride are barely harmful flouride salts, however, they still don't need to be added to water supplies because people can choose how much fluoride they wish to intake. Oh yeah, and you don't need to drink it for the health of your teeth. You can just apply it in low dose concentrations, like they do at the dentist office.

if it is a product that is considered toxic waste if it is spilled in the environment it should not be put in the drinking water also if the government care that much why don't they just add some calcium and potassium just couldn't put some vitamin A and C and just put all that stuff in the water that way we can all be healthy LOL or maybe get some consent first

    • @JordieBogart
      @JordieBogart 7 лет назад +4

Cool, let's stop using chlorine to treat water, stop adding other things to purify it while we're at it.. How about we stop adding vitmain D to milk and orange juice. While we're at it, as well, we should stop ionizing salt.. Just go back to being unhealthy, malnourished, and sickly people with rotting out teeth and a life expectancy of 35-50 years of age.... lol Hell, stop using vaccines too! Might as well! :D

LOL milk and orange juice are products that you choose to buy assuming fluoride was good for you you would not give the same dose to a child as you would an adult No Matter What vitamin or mineral it is and that's why children are more likely to develop Dental fluorosis which is little pits in the teeth that cause cavities

whether or not an individual wants to consume fluoride should determine whether or not he does. the one huge problem with flourinating water is that it prevents a person from choosing. choice, i believe, is the most important freedom a being can have. having said that, it would make much more sense to, rather than dispersing it into the water, have it available to the public in some form that they can dissolve it into their own water.

    • @madman3891
      @madman3891 9 лет назад +2

Fluoride is found on natural sources of water and food, you do not have a choice to this so why would it make sense to keep fluoride out of filtered water when it is removed through a human process, especially when it has shown to have benefits.

Most fluoride added to drinking water is actually hydrofluorisilic acid, not pharmaceutical grade fluoride like most people believe. Hydrofluorisilic acid is a highly toxic by product of the phosphate fertilizer industry. Before water fluoridation began in the USA, the phosphate fertilizer corporations were having to pay massive amounts of money to properly contain and dispose of the fluoride gas that was being produced during the manufacturing process.
Before they were taking measures to contain the fluoride gas it was reeking havoc on the surrounding environment, crops and livestock. The gas from the fertilizer plants would get carried by the wind and in many cases, caused entire herds of cattle to die, slowly wasting away until they finally succumbed to fluoride poisoning. Entire fields of crops were also devastated by this highly toxic gas. These corporations were sued by the farmers and other people who were negatively impacted by the clouds of toxic gas they were unleashing upon the land and eventually had to come up with a way to trap the fluoride gas before it escaped into the surrounding environment.
Even after they had found a way to contain the fluoride, they still had to pay massive amounts of money to find a way to properly dispose of the toxic by product. How'd they do it you ask? Well, they charged towns and cities all across the nation a pretty penny to take it off their hands and add it to the drinking water, you know, for health reasons! While some of the fluoride used for water fluoridation is actual sodium fluoride, much of it is actually the toxic by product hydrofluorissilic acid which contains lead, arsenic and mercury along with radionucleitides.
Yeah that's right, it's radioactive as well. You can't make this shit up people. For all of you out there who won't believe anything unless you hear it from an "authoritative source", there was recently an article from CNN talking about a highly reputable study that was recently done that found that a pregnant mothers consumption of fluoride negatively effects their children IQ, usually by an average of about 5 points. That's not nothing.
This guy is a fluoride shill and it's laughable that someone so uncurious and unquestioning is even attempting to speak about science. "Don't worry everyone, the government told me it's safe!" Holy hell, don't do fluoride kids or you'll end up like this dopey tool. The government doesn't love you nor do they care about you, you are just a source of tax money to them or perhaps another piece of cannon fodder for their illegal wars and empire building excursions overseas.

Thank you! Had to read through lots of comments to find one that talked about the fluoride added to water being different to pharmaceutical fluoride in toothpaste. This answer should be at the top of this posting!!! Hydrofluorisilic acid is considered hazardous waste and as such costs the fertilizer industry to properly dispose of it. So putting it in the water was a great solution for the fertilizer industry, but horrible for the public. The county where I lived voted some years ago to reject fluoridation, mainly because the farmers did not want their animals and crops to uptake a hazardous waste.

Saying fluoridation helps teeth is the main excuse given as to why it is demanded by industry and, in effect, government. Perhaps the primary reason is money however it is quite startling and concerning that fluoridation causes people to absorb heavy metals much more easily - it is this fact that may lead some exposed to fluoride to lower IQ scores.

    5 facts about fluoride:
    1. Fluoride levels are not easily measured once put
into municipal water supplies. Even if there was a ‘safe’ dose of fluoride
(which there really isn’t), there is absolutely no way to regulate this.
Furthermore, if you eat a bowl of cereal with milk and a Coke, you have likely
overdosed on fluoride, likely exceeding the American Dental Association’s
recommended daily dose by 230%. When excessive amounts of fluoride are
consumed, it can be a killer a carcinogen that causes bone, lung, and bladder
cancers. The “it” is fluoride, a common additive in most American communities’
drinking water and an ingredient in the vast majority of commercially produced
adult toothpastes. Why add it to your drinking, and bathing water also?
    2. There are often other dangerous toxins in
fluoridated water. NSF, the corporation that developed drinking water
standards, stated that the ‘most common contaminant in [fluoridated water] is
arsenic.’ Consumer Reports recently said there were also traces of arsenic,
otherwise known as rat poison, in your food, too. Its in baby cereals, juice
and rice. Arsenic has also been found in commercially raised chicken. It can
    cause serious health conditions.
    3. Fluoride is an industrial waste. Fluoride could
only be legally disposed of at a great cost to companies who created it with
industrial practices. As Dr. Bill Marcus explains: “There are prescribed
methods for disposal and they’re very expensive. Fluoride is a very potent
poison. It’s a registered pesticide, used for killing rats or mice. If it were
to be disposed of, it would require a class-one landfill. That would cost the
people who are producing aluminum or fertilizer about $7000+ per 5000- to
6000-gallon truckload to dispose of it. It’s highly corrosive.”
    4. Fluoride doesn’t prevent cavities. The ‘dental
caries prevention myth’ linked with fluoride, started in the United States in
1939 when a scientist named Gerald J. Cox, employed by ALCOA - the largest
producer of toxic fluoride waste and at the time being threatened by fluoride
damage claims - fluoridated some lab rats, concluded that fluoride reduced
cavities and claimed that it should be added to the nation’s water. It’s total
bunk. Florida State University recently found that, “. . .used in the proper
amounts, it can make teeth stronger and aid in the treatment of osteoporosis.
In British Columbia, a shocking 11% of the
entire population drinks fluoridated water, as opposed to 40-70% in other
Canadian regions. Despite this, British Columbia has the lowest rate of tooth
decay in all of Canada. In addition, the lowest rates of dental caries within
the province are found in areas that do not have their water supplies
fluoridated. Cavities are caused by excessive use of refined sugar and
processed foods in general. That’s it. Your saliva cleans your mouth, as does
brushing your teeth with non-fluoride toothpaste. Pharmaceutical meds can also
dry out your saliva, and this can cause cavities, not the absence of fluoride.
In 1986-87, the largest study ever on fluoridation and tooth decay was
performed. The subjects were 39,000 school children between 5 and 17 living in
84 areas around the country. A third of the places were fluoridated, a third
were partially fluoridated, and a third were not. Results indicate no
statistically significant differences in dental decay between fluoridated and
unfluoridated cities. Yet, city after city wants to fluoridate their water.
    5. Poisoned via dilution. Some argue the only
reason fluoridation is being considered at all is because we are being poisoned
via dilution. “The solution to pollution is dilution. You poison everyone a
little bit rather than poison a few people a lot. This way, people don’t know
what’s going on.” It may sounds like a conspiracy theory, but Hitler used
sodium fluoride in his concentration camps. When you consider that this is a
product of the aluminum and pharmaceutical and weapon manufacturing companies,
    it makes you think twice.

Have you read the studies linking fluoride with lizard people? It is being used to control the population so that Obama can become king of the world without us sheeple realizing it.

Rom Ozanne Do you know what? I have done my research and I can't find a single credible source for that, all you get is websites like Truth911 and conspiracy-watch. Give me one piece of peer reviewed medical literature that suggests what you're saying then come back. Without that, you've got nothing.

Why also do we assume that we are better builders than mother nature herself? Do we really think that nature would have screwed up in such a way that we have to add chemicals to the water in order to fix it's mistake?

+Andrew Shaw because well, our natural food never has that much sugar in it like nowadays. Our ancestor has much better teeth. Now, We add chemicals, sugar into our food. 80% has sugar. our teeth are rotten

Adding sugar to food is hypothetical level 1. Understandable, but often times excessive and not necessary. Adding fluoride in masses to public water drinking supplies is a level 10. In this case its being used as a "drug" as its for health purposes that they add this chemical. Completely crazy to think that in any world there would be any drug or chemical that everyone reacts exactly the same to. With such executive decisions being made on the masses part, there may be millions of people that are sick, that will never know why they are sick, because the water is something they have always consumed, and will always consume. Just another every day thing that is over looked because it's "normal." I KNOW the majority of those making these decisions are not brain dead. I know that a majority of the people running the show are capable of critical thinking. It only leads to more questions. No one in their right mind would make such an executive decision for the good of man kinds teeth. There has got to be ulterior motives. Even more so, I KNOW that armed with the proper information, most people would be opposed to this. It's just a shame that in being mistrustful of government or authority figures you are looked down upon and labeled crazy. I don't question my girlfriend when she tells me she doesn't want to buy eggs that are laid by chickens with hormones. Yet she gets uncomfortable when I bring up chemicals added to the water we drink and shower in on a daily basis. Why is it so wrong to talk about this? Why is it taken off the table as an legitimate concern? Why is the priority of oral hygiene put so far above health risks it may cause to your body. What makes anyone think that the fluoride has enough contact with your teeth in the .00345 seconds it takes to take a sip of water? Why have no significant bodies or public figures spoken out about this? Aspirin thins our blood, and prevents heart attacks. Fish oils do as well. Vitamins are essential for our health, and all of these are intended to be orally taken. Why don't we add these to the public drinking water? The reason, is because our best interest is not at heart as far as fluoride goes. If it were it would have been taken many steps past 1 single aspect of a complex assortment of things our bodies require to be healthy. Look at this crazy kid writing an essay. I know its a rant and I didn't expect to write this much. But I am passionately angry when it comes to shady dealings. and I cant help but think that this is shady as shit.

+crobc1 +crobc1 Clearly you perceived what I said in only the ways you wanted to. No where did I suggest scientific advancements are unwelcome, or that we shouldn't continue to improve ourselves as a society. Dumping chemicals into drinking water for no reason other than baseless ideals and unproven expectations is nothing close to being scientifically advance. As a science lover you'd understand that to correctly test results of said "experiment" you need to have variables. You need to be able to distinguish results from test 1 changed, and test 2 unchanged. Surely you have enough sense to understand why I disagree with pouring a hazardous byproduct into water that comes in contact with every cell in the human body. The water you consume in a sip of water has maybe a 2 second time span to come in contact with your teeth. After that it's swallowed and your body processes it. It's just not sensible. Your right we don't live in the Stone Age. We should stop continuing practices that are
