It's great to see you back on the road in your own truck again. That was a long haul for you bud, and you've sure earned it. Your wrenching skills and your resourcefulness are exceptional. I've been fixing my own vehicles for at least 30 years, and I have no doubt that you're already better than I am. Love seeing you driving around with a huge grin on your face. If you have to drive that truck in the salt, I'm hoping you're able to get it oiled. Have a great one brother, and have a hell of a good day.

Nice to see the old girl on the road. Up until 4 years ago when the frame broke I drove an 89' 1/2 ton and worked the piss out of it. I miss that old truck but drive a 94 F250HD now and work it pretty hard too. Like you I do all my own wrenching cuz it's basically the only way I can afford to drive. Old trucks + do the work yourself = no payments!

One doesn’t need to be burned by a garage only a few times to realise that DIY car repairs, maintenance and servicing is best. You know the parts are OEM and installed properly. And oil changes are best quality and the oil filter has been changed each time.

I have an 87 jetta 2 door gli with a diesel 1.9 ahu swap.
I love the diesel and the torque.
The thing is a beast and the sensation of going up a hill puts a smile on my face every time because the torque curve is so mush different than a gas engine...
    That truck is sweet.
My dream truck is a 48 power wagon with a cummins 12 valve..

Thank you for the Video, I enjoy watching your long videos working on things yourself.
