I bet you were one of those, like most 90s kids, who has watched 200 episodes of complete nonsense ekta kapoor shows and now complaining about just 9 episodes of a masterpiece.
I don't know man what you were thinking but whatever you said was elongated or stretched looked to me like good character development. If we wanted to see short and concise stories we would watch a movie or a limited web series like Aspirants or something. But I felt really impressed by the emphasis and research Raj & DK put into this series. The character's developments felt great and the way Srikant's IT job life was handled is what would really be happening in a real-life and was really relatable. Great Review though funny as always.

Season 2 was Decent...It was not Mind Blowing at all...Season 1 had Brilliant Moments besides the Terrorist Plots be it Manoj Bajpais interaction with his Kids, Wife & School Principal too...His Wife's & Sharad Kelkars Character Arcs were very Poor (especially his Wife) this season, His Daughter's role besides when she kills her Boyfriend didn't have an Impactful role, His Son carried out similar scenes to what he did in the previous season Plus the Plots were way too Unpredictable in Season 1 be it What the actual Plan was & how they shifted to Plan B and even when they accidently kill the College Student thinking he was a Terrorist...Really Good Performance by Samantha but Season was Hardly Refreshing or Hard to Predict....It's Decent but not Mind Blowing
If you think its slow.. then you're actually looking to finish the series quickly so that you can give a review about it... No one thinks it was slow... Except you. The series wasn't dragged... Agar 7-8 episodes me khatam kar dete..toh bolta jaldi khatam kar diya .
The name of the show is family man. Family is an important part of the series and your problem with more time spent on that aspect is somewhat misguided. I believe this season was more nuanced and maintained a more consistent pace than the previous season. If the spy stuff was your only priority than you could have tuned in to some another show there are plenty others.

I actually enjoyed this season more than the last one because of the character development and their dillemas. Some scenes literally overwhelmed me. Like the one long shot scene when The whole unit got under attack, that was just excellently shot. Totally loved the cinematography. For me it was 10/10, not being biased in way. It definitely justifies the rating.
Get your facts right dude. If a show is exploring all aspects to create the pretext of show, then it's not called slow, rather it's called amazing writing.

Jabhi woh JK ko goli maar gayab kiya aur idher saajid bhi bhaag rha tha I was like, "Samantha I love but agar JK ko kuch hua na toh I will you all". This is the very first time that I have to disagree with him. The show was excellent. I couldn't get off of my seat. Watched it in one go! Overnight! The last 2-3 episodes were the best. The actress who played Raji didn't have many dialogues but MY GOD! She was excellent. Like WOW! Her expressions, her stature, her body language...Left me speechless❤️. So sublime and marvelous. Manoj Bajpai was wonderful as always❤️. Loved the show...No complaints. Eagerly waiting for the next one! Hats off to you Raj&DK
You're only concentrating on the NIA and the ongoing mission aspect of Tiwari. The consequences of the things happened in last mission and in his personal life also shaped his psyche. As he's not a super hero, he's just a human being and the name is "Family Man" they had to show that aspect also. Best season 2 of any Indian web series (till now)

I don't know shan but i really liked this season. Everything is very well organized and well researched, Even the conversation between the characters looks so real and basic. I liked it very much. Raj and dk did a really amazing job!
The show is named 'The family Man', not 'Tasc Man' so obviously there will be family related issues,backstories,sub-plots and humam stories. Everyone and everything can't be at a John Wick level ki dekhte hi goli mardo, sabko mardo aur kahani khatam. 😐
OMG! I hadn't read this comment, but this is exactly what I told one of friends about the series. End of the day, it's called FAMILY MAN. So yeah, we see his family and what battle they are going through as well.

Hi Shantanu, I know you like roasting bad shows, that’s your style and it’s okay, but to unnecessarily impose it on a show which had very few flaws seems deliberate. Even your thumbnail was a clickbait. Bro, you need to give more depth to your analysis as this one was quite shallow. Picking up a sensitive storyline like this required a lot of detailing of the characters which was done masterfully here. The pace was spot on and to keep the audience hooked on to the show it was plush with a lot of layers. With all due respect I don't agree with any of the negatives that you have mentioned. Srikant's Cooperate Job plot was wrapped up in two and a half episodes. Zoya and Milind plot was not so much lengthy. Zoya literally had 2 scenes in the entire season - one flashback scene and another meeting with Milind. That was showing the effect that incident had brought in their life. The scene were he was talking with the jihadi boy was just to burn time so that TASC can track down the location. Lastly the series length is roughly 7 hrs total, thats not that long, lengthy and boring using Mirzapur S2 which was appox. 9 hrs long and really felt streched.
Completely agreed. I was searching for a comment like this, else I would have written the same thing. I'm such a person who find it difficult to sit in front of the screen for more than 2:30hours. I watched it in one stretch. Excellent build up moments. Kept me on the edge. Loved the series definitely.

THIS SHOW IS NOT AT ALL SLOW. It's alright to have your own opinion but season 2 is even better than season 1. Show kept us indulged and the latter episodes keeps us on the edge.

Bro the season 2 was Bomb, absolutely amazing. You don't have to criticize every show just to stand apart from other review channels. The acting, casting and storyline was on point. It showed that every side has a cause and how intelligence agencies have to suffer for the political benefit of politicians. For me the series was a straight 9 and it deserves all the hype.
Your review is funny as always! But I didnt find the show stretched out at all. This show is not just about the tasc force Shrikanth its about his personal life too (you know, the family man). So subplots including their married life problems is very much significant!
It's not dragging. It is the tension between the climax and the end. This show is best because what you expect that never happens. For example when everyone thought salman will help dhriti eventually but who knew dhriti would kill him instead. Loved it!
That scene gave me chills. Her loss of innocence was gruesome. And all this eventually brought the family together. His family finally understood him and started appreciating him.

there is a term called "slow burn". thank god series like GoT, breaking bad were released before you started your channel otherwise you would have labeled them as slow, over stretched also. i think you missed the main point of this series. family man aims to bring story of a special agent who is a husband and father also. he loves his family as much his country. so this constant dillema between his commitments towards country and his family is beautifully weaved in first 3 4 episodes. and also for developinf for sub plots. your review seemed very immature and sadly from now on i wont be able to rely on your views. i think you are trying to impose as very hard to impress kind of crtics forcefully trying to bring negative sides. and please dont put such shitty thumbnail for a series like this.

The season is not long Shantanu they are developing a story. It is a revolution in Bollywood. Not that typical oh am an agent and everything will happen today. We are shown secret agents as heroes here the concept is to show and focus on their life, simple like us. It's not about shooting down the terrorist but the process. Get well soon!!

THIS SHOW IS NOT AT ALL SLOW. It's alright to have your own opinion but season 2 is even better than season 1. Show kept us indulged and the latter episodes keeps us on the edge.

Bro the season 2 was Bomb, absolutely amazing. You don't have to criticize every show just to stand apart from other review channels. The acting, casting and storyline was on point. It showed that every side has a cause and how intelligence agencies have to suffer for the political benefit of politicians. For me the series was a straight 9 and it deserves all the hype.

there is a term called "slow burn". thank god series like GoT, breaking bad were released before you started your channel otherwise you would have labeled them as slow, over stretched also. i think you missed the main point of this series. family man aims to bring story of a special agent who is a husband and father also. he loves his family as much his country. so this constant dillema between his commitments towards country and his family is beautifully weaved in first 3 4 episodes. and also for developinf for sub plots. your review seemed very immature and sadly from now on i wont be able to rely on your views. i think you are trying to impose as very hard to impress kind of crtics forcefully trying to bring negative sides. and please dont put such shitty thumbnail for a series like this.

The season is not long Shantanu they are developing a story. It is a revolution in Bollywood. Not that typical oh am an agent and everything will happen today.
We are shown secret agents as heroes here the concept is to show and focus on their life, simple like us. It's not about shooting down the terrorist but the process.
