Reloop Spin - My first look
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 10 июл 2020
- I decided to pick up the Reloop Spin portable turntable. This is my first impressions of it. I have mixed feelings about this one. It needs a few upgrades to become amazing but its also kinda useable straight out of the box... Not a full review, just a quick look :D
Thanks!/ Acc

Once you replace the stock cross fader with the innofader, you can use the old fader as a volume fader like a traditional cross fader with the curve set all the way down. Just plug I the old fader to the red cable once you opne it up. It'll help manage the volume of the input and record itself. So the fader upgrade is a 2 in one, you won't need to buy the separate board for the volume. Unless you're picky about volume control.
Dude what the hell... i thought this was an old video and i was about to get pissed at youtube for putting an old video in my recent videos tab but my god you've progressed greatly! You look amazing man. Kudos!
yo man, so glad to see you recovered so well! Keep it up, enjoying your videos a lot :)
Dude, you’re doing better and better!! That’s great!!! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
So happy to see you are doing well!
This looks pretty awesome. Also on a different note, you look great man.
Dude, right? It’s great seeing him recovering more and more
Healing in the name of Jesus!!!
Hey man, great to see you super recovered, Thxs for the video, I've been toying with the idea of buying this little monster.
Glad to see you are doing great!! you look really good!
Good review, definitely want to see the update.
I got the Reloop Spin last summer, I found it to be a fantastic introduction piece for me as a novice scratcher (after I modded the fader). I love it.
Nice to see another portablist! 🎚️😉 The Innofader comes allready with a cable where you can use the stock fader as a blending crossfader. The Jesse Dean volume control board has additional features. Maybe I'll get one too. And to avoid headaches, make sure not to move the fadersteam while releasing the calibration button of your Innofader. This happened to me and it took a while to get it right. Hjärtliga hälsningar 😊
Great lil intro, would love to see the follow-up video post upgrades (seriously). Stay strong brother.
Lookin good brother!
Would love to see a video where you break down your technique. I am quite new to scratching but very interested in it.
Glad u doing good bro 💯😎🔥
Innofader has an special cable in bag to connect stock fader from Spin and use it as volume control. Try that. I have it done in mine and works perfect
Awsome, I like all your videos.
Great video, and so happy to see you looking so well! Curious if you’ve tried the Numark PT-01 Scratch and if so, how you’d compare the two. Thanks!
I have both reloop is a bit more portable
ACCURATE BEATS!!
I have one and its incredible, just fade upgrade... and I have had many good portables over the years this reloop is next level.
Your an inspiration, concise , in-depth and fun. U cost me though .
Nice with some linguaphone record and nice vid Acc!
Hey bro..i wish you could have explained the batteries and power situation abit more in depth...but overall a good video👍 cheers
I’ve been in the fence for acquiring a portable (partablisim) scratch “unit” for a while now. I know there’s a few options out there w/ integrated faders, mods, & whatnot, but I’m curious to see what comes of your personal Reloop mods (of course w/ an Innofader). Looking good & keep on keeping it accurate for us, AB!
This is a great option and fun
Hey Accurate! A lot of people recommend upgrading the fader with a Jesse Dean Designs contactless fader (the Innofaders are good too).. but beyond that, it's pretty dope. How do you think Reloop Spin compares to the Numark PT-01?
hi thank your for the review video, I really want to know do you think this device is enough for sampling the vinyl to the machine mk3? I am new to this and I probably mainly use a turntable for sampling and also do little bit scratch.
Nice Video. Welcome to the 7 inch world ;)
Mmm, worth investigating, like the cross fader on it, you looking well bro
Omg🔥🔥
If I wanted to connect my reloop spin to my daw could I use focuserite Scarlett solo to do that ? Thanks in advance
Hello! I'm interested in this device as I want to record scratches to put in my beats when working with a DAW. I have a couple of questions:
1. Can I use this device to scratch a custom audio file of my choosing via USB?
2. Can I use this to record/export as an audiofile into my PC by connecting the RCA jacks into my audio interface?
Can u connect the reloop spin to your interface if so how
New subscriber and off topic, so pardon me if you've answered this before... What's the phrase you sign off your videos? 🤔 I looked up "swedish goodbye, bye, later, next time" etc, but Google translate probably isn't the best way to look it up
Hey Corey!
I love that you googled it 🤪
The phrase is “ha det gött” - literary meaning “have it good”. Used in a similar way as “take care”
I just started saying it and... I guess I like consistency, haha!
However: Ha det gött!
i think a lot of people would like to know: why that turntable and not the famous pt01-scratch by numark?
Initially why i was more into spin was first of all the bluetooth, then the most important the crossfader space and the placement, the fact that you've got the option for right and left crossfaders, design and finally the name.Let's be fair Numark is great for what has been through time but unfortunately Numark has given moment of distrust (looking at ttx series).
Now why does Numark has stayed on top, first of all and most importantly it came first and it is cheaper that the two major reason why PT-01 is on top.To this day new modification are created and by the time spin was out already the modification teams were into PT-01 and most people had already fully modded their PT-01 so there was no reason to try out spin in the first place.Another reason why PT-01 is on top is because it is easier to modify it,the shell is as simple as it gets, where in spin's case things are slighly different.
At the end of the day the only real difference i can give you is the bluetooth and the fader space/double fader that matter, but are these two good enough for the price difference (especially since spin needs to be modded too)?
Because its a bit newer but its also better in alot of ways
@@trakvultures7942 it's pretty much the same, the stock fader needs to be upgraded/ modes on both tables.....I've met Jesse Sean and his faders are dope...the mini innofader is dope af too...the pto1 is more compact though..
yo! For a total begginer that is going to start scratching, what do you think is better, a reloop spin or a turntable + mixer?
Better to learn with the bigger platter imo but this is a cheaper way to get going
FUCK YEAH!!!
Install an innofader for spin on it and after set the cut in time with calibration button, after that it will be reaaaally perfect!
Yeah I really hope that'll make a big difference. It's in the mail :D
@@AccurateBeats Haha trust me, with this inno it's really fine nice cutz, enjoy and make some new videos, thanks for your work and really good to see you comeback in good health! Peace
Hey I’m looking at getting into hardware would the Maschine mikro mk3 be a good piece to get going with?
Depends what you want to do, if you want to be able to chop up samples really easily and have a little groovebox, then the maschine would be the place to go. You dont have to spend so much money to get into music production, I have a midi controller and i also have a mashine, but i find myself straying away from my tools because of the tracks im making. Before you make any decision download ableton or fl studio, and if you enjoy that then look into getting a physical controller.
Maybe start out with a cheaper midi controller and ableton or some other DAW, then move on to the maschine if you feel like investing more.
Thats not hardware...it’s a midi controller. There nothing inside of it.
Can u hook a mixer straight to mpc ?
Oh yeah! Or just line this one straight in to the mpc from the master output. Portable sampling!
Accurate are you from Montreal?
He's from Sweden
I want to start learning how to scratch but I don't have the budget for a whole set mixer turntable this looks like a really good option for me you think I will able to learn scratching, some people saying that the Reloop spin and pt01 are toys and sure you can play and make some basic cuts but the motor is not powerful enough and you will not get good torque and won't able to learn all the scratching techniques, what do you think should I really skip and wait till iI will have the money for a decent turntable or it will be good as the first learning Turntable, Originally I planed to buy reloop 2000 M but to store owner told me that it's good for DJ but not for the scratching not enough torque. but I really want to get into scratching, so what about the reloop spin It's cheap but originally it was made for scratching
reloop 2000 M will be less performed than the loop?
Hey mr Spock :)
Don’t listen to the elitists! The pt-01 scratch is not as good as a fully fletched pro scratch setup, off course not - look at the price difference!
Can you learn scratching on it though? -100% You might feel that the PT isn’t good enough for you once you’ve become really good at scratching, just like you would grow out of your first pair of jeans... That doesn’t mean that it’s a toy. I think this turntable is amazing for exactly people like you and I can only recommend getting into scratching with it. Sure, there are better pro setups out there but I’ve never seen a better beginner setup.
Hope that helps, take care man
@Accurate Beats thank you for the replay, I think I have money for decent turntable Mixars STA + Mixars Mixer, You think ONE turntable will be good to learn Scratching Can I really learned almost anything besides juggling and mixing tracks?
@@AccurateBeats Thank you so much I bought two MIXARS STA with Concorge NIGHTCLUB MK2 and MIXARS CUT MIXER and its great the only problem no good records for scratching and here is my dilemma almost any record cost between 15-66$ with shipping to my country its +20$ so let's say I want to buy the superseal it will cost my around 40$ including shipping so if I buy 3-4 record it will be almost as buying timecode DVS, but than learning on hardcore vinyl no dvs making me feel good what do you think? DVS or Buying a set of Vinyl?
Welcome to the portablist scene 😄
Well thank you ;D I've been interested in it for quite some time now... I'm glad I finally took the step!
You would miss the vestax
MPC
Do the mods please. ;)

This video was a clickbait for me straight away. I was actually looking to bet the Numark PT01 Scratch while lockdown was on here in the UK but my local store only had the Reloop Spin. It was actually the first time I was hearing about it. I decided to get the Reloop Spin over the PT01 but it was out of stock by the time the store opened for me to check it out in person. It should be coming in next week so I'll have mine then.
Reloop dropped the ball on that portable. The cut in on that fader is useless! They could've had the portable game on smash if they came correct with the fader. Need to dump a couple hundred dollars on mods before it can be of any use. As far as straight out of the box functionality pre-modded, Numark is the better bang for the buck.
from solid steel to tupperware party time - yeah more plastic for the oceans!... everything suks in 2021
Damn this dude literally just cried and pissed about everything as if he's a professional scratching himself..... who the hell says a big and small headphone jack? SMH pretty much everything was not good enough for him
How is nobody talking of the flaws with this product? There is a massive hum when plugged into USB mains adapter. The balance between aux and vinyl is unadjustable if the aux level is low. Why are there upgrades for the tone arm and crossfader? Using batteries are an extra cost including a charger for them. Awful product. I'm sending mine back, absolute rip off.
