Hi. I have filled black ink but must have pushed wrong button as it kept saying low ink. It is now at the point where it is saying no ink / replace ink and wont let me print. so ink dot counter has not registered full ink. How do i correct this or reset it? Urgent help please - cant find anything on printer or manual!!
@@Naswih Hey, in the manual they only ask you to call Brother Customer Service, but if the nozzle where you put the ink has an opening, you can try cleaning it using a syringe to remove the ink from inside. You will probably have to clean the inside of the tank with water and then remove the water with a syringe as well. I say water because these printer inks are usually made with water-based dyes. After all this, you must put in the correct ink and do a print head cleaning, because sometimes the system throws the ink into the machine without you printing anything (or if you even printed something with the wrong ink).
