Think about how paradigm shifting (in the US espically) the crash of 2008 was, the economic impacts are still being felt by millions of people to this day, and it really was a turning point for the ideals of companies and society much in the same way that covid was for the 2020. Of course it wasnt perfect, no time and era was, but it surely lacked a lot of the issues and pessimistic outlooks that people have about the future today.
no other "frutiger" aesthetic video or playlist gets the vibe like you do, this truly feels like authentic love for the era. especially cool since this aesthetic shaped my childhood (whish feels funny to say because i'm still quite young, but it truly did!) i love this, keep going!

I started really developing my music tastes back in high school by listening to a lot of HOME, vaporwave classics like Saint Pepsi and Blank Banshee. I moved on to Haircuts for Men and Macroblank by the end of highschool, then just dove straight into all the vaporwave playlists I could since I've started college. Discovering you this winter has probably been the most exciting part of my journey so far, because this is MY DECADE. 😊 My childhood wasn't always peaceful but by listening to this, I'm celebrating what was good. I appreciate all the time you put into making these cool visuals, it makes me feel bad that I have this playing in another tab hahaha!! God, that mini golf takes me back. Thank you!!

I was genuinely surprised that this has Find Your Way in the list. Usually I don't hear much mention about RR6 at all. This is so cool! For those that don't know, it plays that way because the menu changes steps in music depending on what you choose.
