I’m a defender and to be a good defender u have to be committed and u have to learn that at a young age u can’t half comit a tackle bc the opposition will take round u also u need timing if u don’t time ur tackles u will hurt urself or the opposition but it takes a long time to be able to time a tackle perfectly. Also u have to make split second decisions if u have the choise to dive in for the tackle or jockey in ur position and u don’t make the right choise u have to bust the gut to get back (sprint as hard as u can) and that’s my advice on defending if u take my advice I will be greatfull.
