In hungary the intercity trains are short because in hungary the train service isn't very good. This is one of most modern line in hungary. On the other lines the trains are really old and slow. There are a lot of delays and most of the poeple are traveling by car.

Classic Dulevoz quality! Thank you, Dusan! The NOHAB was quite a big surprise on this one. Also, i was amazed by the short RaaberBahn fast trains when i filmed in Budapest.
Very nice video! Why don't you have warning bells at level crossings? Here in Finland every single level crossing is equipped with warning bell. The oldest bell type, which is still used in here is Ericssons "cowbell". Ah yes and these Flirt trains have almost replaced our good old Sm1 and Sm2 units, which are now collecting rust and waiting for their faith at Joensuu.
Thank you. Here some railway crossings have bell signals, and some do not have. Lines where there are too many trains like this, usually do not have bells.
I am enjoying this and all of your train watching videos very much. I know you don't really want to generally give an idea when the next train cab video will be published, but is there any way to give me an idea of when I might expect the next one? Thanks, Dusan! Regards, Dana
Well, I hope it may be sooner rather than later! I am re-watching your other cab ride videos! They never get old. I really like that last one in the snow thru Beograd! I hope you publish other videos in the meantime! Regards, Dana.

Can someone please tell me what is the average train speed in Hungary? They seem to be rolling pretty fast... How many lines/kilometers have where trains can roll up to 160km/h?
Only on red sections of the railway network speed is 160km/h: kep.cdn.indexvas.hu/1/0/1443/14436/144363/14436348_f834617f8e193a293d127d3b76a2bc90_wm.jpg
Thanks for this information. Didn't find this anywhere. Just curious as I wanted to compare with the railway network from my country Romania, which also has 2 sections with 160 km/h and others under construction on the Transylvanian corridor from Brasov to Arad and border with Hungary... but on average it is neglected on much of its total length of 22.000 km, from which 8585 km are electrified. And the average speed is 45 km/h due to long old sections which have not been improved/rehabilitated since tens of years, where trains roll even with 30 km/h speed. During the communist regime, which I don't approve whatsoever, statistics show that the network was kept and administrated under better conditions, the average speed being around 60 km/h, close to the value which I heard that is in Hungary, from what I've read in an article. But I just wanted a confirmation from an official source, in order to compare.
I recommend you this map: goo.gl/P5jgNF. On the new reconstructed lines (towards Romania and Székesfehérvár) the trains will reach 160 km/h after the installation of etcs2 (instead of 120 km/h). The reconstruction of the first sections of lines 40a (towards Pusztaszabolcs) and 80 (towards Hatvan) has just begun.
