      In hungary the intercity trains are short because in hungary the train service isn't very good. This is one of most modern line in hungary. On the other lines the trains are really old and slow. There are a lot of delays and most of the poeple are traveling by car.

    Very nice video! Why don't you have warning bells at level crossings? Here in Finland every single level crossing is equipped with warning bell. The oldest bell type, which is still used in here is Ericssons "cowbell". Ah yes and these Flirt trains have almost replaced our good old Sm1 and Sm2 units, which are now collecting rust and waiting for their faith at Joensuu.

    • @dulevoz
      @dulevoz  7 лет назад +3

      Thank you. Here some railway crossings have bell signals, and some do not have. Lines where there are too many trains like this, usually do not have bells.

    Can someone please tell me what is the average train speed in Hungary? They seem to be rolling pretty fast... How many lines/kilometers have where trains can roll up to 160km/h?

    • @dulevoz
      @dulevoz  6 лет назад

      Only on red sections of the railway network speed is 160km/h:
      kep.cdn.indexvas.hu/1/0/1443/14436/144363/14436348_f834617f8e193a293d127d3b76a2bc90_wm.jpg

    • @g0blin11
      @g0blin11 6 лет назад

      Thanks for this information. Didn't find this anywhere. Just curious as I wanted to compare with the railway network from my country Romania, which also has 2 sections with 160 km/h and others under construction on the Transylvanian corridor from Brasov to Arad and border with Hungary... but on average it is neglected on much of its total length of 22.000 km, from which 8585 km are electrified. And the average speed is 45 km/h due to long old sections which have not been improved/rehabilitated since tens of years, where trains roll even with 30 km/h speed. During the communist regime, which I don't approve whatsoever, statistics show that the network was kept and administrated under better conditions, the average speed being around 60 km/h, close to the value which I heard that is in Hungary, from what I've read in an article. But I just wanted a confirmation from an official source, in order to compare.

    • @setapista358
      @setapista358 6 лет назад

      I recommend you this map: goo.gl/P5jgNF. On the new reconstructed lines (towards Romania and Székesfehérvár) the trains will reach 160 km/h after the installation of etcs2 (instead of 120 km/h). The reconstruction of the first sections of lines 40a (towards Pusztaszabolcs) and 80 (towards Hatvan) has just begun.

    Great pictures and some really interesting light in some of the shots. (Patience is rewarded in photography!) I also noticed that some very powerful locomotives (Taurus, Vectron, Traxx?) are sometimes used on very light passenger trains. Are they covering for unavailable multiple units?

    • @leveskockaa
      @leveskockaa 2 года назад

      No they are not covering for multiple units, although they sometimes double as passenger trains instead of the normal intercity service. The reason for the short trains is the high (combined) frequency of these services

    Sokan (főleg külföldiek) rákérdeztek hogy a 160km/h az nálunk miért gyors amikor valahol 350km/h-val mehetnek a vonatok.1.nálunk a vonatok nagy többsége csak 120km/h ra van engedélyezve(ennyit bír a többség)(pl V43" szili,,)
    2.Pálya állapotátol is függ ,hogy mennyivel mehetnek a vonatok.
    3. Kissebb ország kevesebb pénz, munkaerő ès kevesebb hozzáèrtès.
    4. Meg minek is olyan gyorsan száguldani,úgy is eléred a cèlállomást.
    5.A vasuttal való utazást élvezni kell DE nem úgy ,hogy a okoseszközünket tapogatjuk, hanem èrezzük a vonat mozgását, fèkezèsèt, BZmot-oknak recsegő hangját , a tuskófékek erős csikorkó hangját stb stb
    REMÉLEM EZZEL TUDTAM SEGÍTEN KÜLFÖLDI BARÁTAINKNAK.(persze csak akkor, hogy ha èrtik vagy lefordítják.

      Én, külföldi, csak annyit tudok erre mondani, hogy a dupla sebesség nem dupla, hanem égig nyúló többszörös befektetést igényel. A pálya jobb karbantartását is igényelve. De visszafizetődő a befektetés úgy 25 év távlatában? Mennyi a megspórolt idő, amit az utasok munkára, tehát adóbevitelre fordíthatnak?
      Bárcsak nálunk, Szlovákián, szakemberek döntenének a vasútról, nem pedig a párttitkár nagybácsi védence (kindermenedzsment)

      In romania sa vedeti viteza de 70 la ora e ceva grotesc tara cu cei mai multi hoti pe km unde nu sa facut 20 km in 6 ani am ajuns ultimii in europa bravo ungariei care au oameni capabili sa conduca

      Annyit még hozzátennék, hogy nemcsak a pálya állapota és a járművek miatt ennyi. Van egy szabály, ami szerint 160 km/h felett nem lehet szintbeni kereszteződés. Namost ezt itthon megoldani csillagászati vállalkozás lenne.

    Very great video! :) I like fast trains. In Poland we have 160 km/h trains too and Alstom Pendolino 200 km/h. I also have fast trains in my channel :) greetings from Poland ! :)

    These are nice footages of a 'high speed' rail line of Hungary. Have a look at the slow ones as well, they are even better. ;)

    Mogao bih se zakleti da kad sam 2017.isao iz Budimpeste za Bec da je brzinometar u vozu pokazivao 230kmh. Moguce da je to bilo u Austriji mada sam tada mislio kako Madjari imaju brze pruge (200kmh pa navise).

      From Budapest via Bratislava and Prague to Berlin on another route.
      But..... my friends told me, maybe in the future as H-START pushing on it, EC trains between Prague and Budapest will be rerouted via Vienna instead Bratislava, but thing has very low probability near equal to zero. Then You will see here.

    Quick tip. If you're in Hungary and waiting for your train then whenever the intercity is coming, always I repeat ALWAYS cover your ears because if you don't like loud noises like me because it is very loud and very disturbing for people like me. And also those trains that are red and blue, they are not trains they are fucking oversized trams. The InterCity is a train
