I was 6 in 1966, there was a McDonald's close to my house, my Mom,RIP, I love you so much, she'd give me 2 dollars, and I'd get a cheeseburger, French fries and a shake for 90¢.lol, seems so funny to think back, it was those old style McDonald's with red and white tile benches on the side, so you could smell the food while you ate, I loved that food, still do. Thanks for wonderful memory.

The first clown featured is the original Ronald McDonald played by soon-to-be NBC's weatherman Willard Scott! Perhaps eating all those burgers made him overweight. 😋
I first saw Ronald Mc Donald in the 1960s in person and he was creepy. I was so terrified that I cried. The hamburgers taste like dog food.,I think that a lot of kids were scared of him. McDonalds doesn't make you strong, it makes you obese, or have high cholesterol. The worst food that you can eat.
Mickie D's were a "fun" place to go with family, also, the milk shakes were always available, there was a commercial, about getting a soda, a burger, and fries, for a dollar, and you still get "change back". and I remember buying that combo a few times.
All before they became McGhetto's. And, no one who walks in there today can move as fast as, or is as fit as the clown in the beginning, nor dresses as well! How times have changed for the worst!
