And the hero wants his girlfriend to wear the modern and short clothes brought by him. And the heroine does not wear such dresses but wears them as per the hero's wish*

I doubt they changed it for legal reasons. So many cases of blatant plagiarism went unchallenged especially till few years back. Maybe just edited out the initial music to align with requirements of the video.
