Singer 9432 Sewing Machine

This sewing machine has broken string for the stitch selector panel, it's too much work for putting back on, so I put the Scotch tape with the written numbers to align with the patterns, also taped a numbers paper on the selector dial as alternate.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. Very helpful! Does the Singer 9432 require oiling? The manual doesn't discuss oiling.

I think cleaning and oiling the machine every 4 month will make the machine keep running good.
