at 00:48 you say "" lets hide this sketch we did in the previous video", but there was no sketch done in the previous video. Am I missing something? How do we sketch on the Terrain like that? that seems cool af.
I wanted to activate the subtitles but RUclips considers that this video is in Vietnamese (and not in English) so the translations are really bad. Do you think you can change it in RUclips Studio? Anyway, thanks for this content!
I think an obvious thing that is missing as a feature is a paint on effect. like a brush. similar as to what was demonstrated in creating the shape of the mountain area. As you have this heat map. the option could be to simply paint an area yellow with a brush. the yellow area woulld then be the area the filter is applied. That way you can really fine tune the filters. paint a bit of eriion there a bit desert on the ground etc..
You actually can do that already ... exactly the same way as used for filters you can apply areas to textures and paint trhough the Blendmap. Anyways, this will be waaaaaay more comfortable in World Creator 3 :) :) :)
Hi, this video series is excellent. Maybe you will get to this, but I have seen many different World Creator videos and none of them show how to make a river or lake that is above sea level. Is this ability missing from World Creator? If so, that is not good. I have only seen a river and lake created when they are at the same elevation as sea level. I am not a game creator or anything, and I don't have the time or knowledge to bring everything into Unity or Unreal Engine or whatever other rendering programs are out there to do this. If you have contact with the developers, please suggest this to them. It seems like such a basic functionality, and if it is missing, it should be added. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to your next video.
Sorry, I would like to buy the program but before I wanted to ask this question that I was unable to understand: In World Creator 2 is it possible to export an image file of the world created in Tiff or Jpeg format to be used as a background or other? If this is possible, at what resolution? Thanks
Hi, when working with filters i find it annoying that when clicking on Add button WC automaticaly adds the default Mountain Range filter. Would'n't it better to not have a filter applied by default? I think it's kind disturbing.
When the Filter Library opens up, the first selected filter is applied automatically due to the real-time preview of the filter. So clicking through each filter applies it automatically to the terrain so you can see how the filter actually looks like. In World Creator 3 we will have an option where yu can either use as currently or where you have to pres a GENERATE button to see the changes.

You can use the take screenshot feature with a defined resolution of choice.

Why doesn't the 04 video have subtitles?
