Unfortunately you're not actually cured. You're on a glorified elimination diet which is why you're no longer symptomatic. Carnivore is unsustainable and your health will suffer in the long term as a result of it. Wish you well.

I did this test at a procedure center, about 15 -20 years ago when it was new science. I sat in a room with about 10 others, and a nurse would come every 15 minutes with my bag , and make the rounds to the others with theirs. I have Crohn’s disease, and have had numerous intestinal resections. By the end of the 3.5 hours, I knew all the symptoms /conditions that others had that led them to have this test done. 🙃Doing it at home would be a lot easier, especially since I had to drive an hour and a half each way to the center. Technology sure is advancing! Good luck!
I'm doing the test right now. You didn't prepare me for the discomfort! Within minutes of drinking the lactulose I became extremely gassy and bloated. I've collected only two tubes so far, and my tummy hurts so bad.
I am concerned about the discomfort. I'm already having such painful issues. How long did the discomfort last? Did you have to take something after the test to alleviate the symptoms?

Please look into Lactobacillus Reuteri yogurt. Also known as L. Reuteri yogurt. There’s also a book called Super Gut by Dr. William Davis. He also has videos about SIBO. I also started making kefir and drinking it everyday and it has done wonders.
Hi, I really believe that I have SIBO and that is causing my hypoglycemia and also malabsorption. But because of that, I can't do the SIBO test because drinking lactulose would affect my blood sugar. Are there any other SIBO tests? Please If you have any suggestions. Dr would not prescribe me antibiotics without being positive that I have SIBO. AND thank you for an informative video!
I took the test 3 weeks ago n it came back positive: the treatment is terrible two week process! I got mine done at hospital: after you drink the solution ,I had to wait 15 min : then do it again:

@@michelesteward5170 yes there are 3 options but all were extreme: I took 2000 antibiotics a day ( divided 4xs a day: the med they give alcoholics ( 1 4x a day: one heartburn med twice a day : and Walgreens brand of the pink tablet:for upset stomach: this is what I was prescribed: the pull that they give alcoholics is the worse! Then after you stop taking them , about a week later ,you suddenly get terrible craps n have to sit on toilet all day for 3 days! That's what happened to me:
Have you managed to treat your symptoms since? I suspect taking strong probiotics for a good period of time is a vital part of healing to crowd out and /or fight the SIBO species. Some say fasting for longer durations of 24-72 hours every few days helped the most. See Eliot Overton at EONutrition, "i fixed my gut".
@pennyhardaway7491 I eat yogurt and it seems to sour more in my stomach: It always want to come up: the treatment did cure it but, I don't recommend taking antibiotics unless it's serious : I probably fast from 7pm to 11 am everyday ,which is 16 hours: I'll try n extend that: I did start drinking celery juice which really calms my stomach: coffee doesn't help it either but, a habit I enjoy in morning: what's the strongest probiotic?
In the current Genova breath test, it says that the first to tubes are filled before taking the lactulose mix, is it wrong o what is the correct way ? thx

There’s also an at home breath tester called FoodMarble AIRE that gives people immediate results for hydrogen, methane and hydrogen sulphide.
