Mary, the girl who said having OnlyFans was tacky, was not a host of the Whatever podcast, but another guest. She's a host of Pop-Culture Crisis, part of Tim Pool's media group. She's a devout Catholic.
Yeah, they had Mary Morgan in the clip. She's a devoted Catholic. She's the one who said only fans was cringe. They only invite women like that to shame the thots. I personally detest shows and podcasts that thrive on those negative vibes.
Women have had these types of shows long before men started doing these podcasts. The view, Oprah, Ellen, but only now it's a problem when men do it on the Internet. Yet women are also making mysandrist podcast and viral tictoks and "girl math". Men don't need to make women look dumb they do that plenty of their own volition. All men do is gather the clips and give them a platform to answer questions.
A constant in these "oh this is all rage bait for sexists" is that these girls do, in fact, exist, and that there's an entire system made to make them and let them thrive at others' expense.
Exactly, they've been doing this to us since the 2000's; and they only complain now that there are shows created against them. Personally, I can't stand watching these kinds of shows. Just pointing out that when it's against men, no one defends us. This is why special treatment for "victim's" should've never been made, it only excuses made for aggression for their side.

I have watched the Whatever Podcast a decent amount of times and I can definitely assure you the majority of the time with their clips it's not out of context. It may seem like it but it's really not. Like that girl who said she likes to humble Men was the full context of what was being talked about and she specifically chose to say what she did. Don't get me wrong I do think the Podcast does indeed choose certain types of girls but the questions that are asked or brought up aren't hard super intellectual questions. They're something the average person should have some basic understanding on. It also doesn't help that a lot of the girls that are Feinists (with a M in-between E + I) come one acting as if they have ALL the knowledge of what's actually happening and how Women are victims. If you act like that regardless of who or what you are you can and will be subject to back up your claims. Like that girl who tried to paint the picture only Women have suffered in all these ways throughout history and the host should known but when it was reversed on her she couldn't even answer yet cones out to be a Hypocrite. Act Cocky or like a Know-it-all and you will get humbled. Same thing with opinions. Yes everyone can have a different opinion but opinions don't trump Facts let alone Truth. There is such a thing as Right and Wrong opinions
Sydney is being a bit misleading here. One of the points of the podcast is that they take an adversarial position to OF and other types of adult content... it's why they bring the performers on the show... to have debates about it. If anyone shows up unprepared for these conversations, it's on them. And it isn't inconsistent for the host to be adversarial when it was the entire premise of the show.
While I generally agree, do we know if she slept with them? Because drugging and robbing someone might have a shorter statute of limitations than drugging and raping someone.
It should surprise absolutely no one that a discussion of the divide between the sexes is met by a woman arriving to play tone police & dictate what may be said or shown. These shows & the thousands of allegedly candid street clips merely give these ladies a microphone. If they say something stupid, that's not a flaw with society or the discussion itself. Doesn't the Whatever show also usually include at least one woman as a counterpoint who isn't unhinged at the table? If doing that show is easy content, does that mean reacting to a video made to complain about that show is also easy content, or does the double layer of grift absolve a person? Asking for a friend.
Good point, I mean, they have a studio cameras and such, but that pales in comparison to stuff like The View. They're no less indie than Alana, but she wants to argue about "easy content"? Is it bad because it's easy? Is it wrong because it's easy? Maybe if these on camera didn't embarrass themselves so easily on camera, this wouldn't come up.
Tbh, they have a good balance of women who are smart and dume. If it were women who never graduated high school, no one would watch the podcast. A good 80% of them are doctor or have some kind of major.
Yeah they actually went through every single episode and gathered all the statistics and it turns out only 1/5 women are either OF "models" or sex workers of any kind, a mere 20%. They talk about how the show is "trying to make women look dumb" but yet neglect to mention all the smart women who come on the podcast and actually argue against some of the dumb things the other women say... Not exactly clipping out of context either with that girl who was having sex with like 5 dudes a day for a week or month straight or whatever it was, she obviously has a sex addiction so how does that change anything that the clip doesn't specifically mention it, how is that not already implied??
This is the first L take I've seen from Alana. Kind disappointed. Just turn on any mainstream media on television. It's all anti-male stuff. Making fun of men! But we can't have one podcast making fun of woman, and feminists? Btw the Whatever podcast is not "cut, or edited"! If you watch it live it's all no cuts, or edits! And yes the relationship between men and women is getting worse. But that's not the whatever podcasts fault. It's the toxic society we live in. And feminism!
If you actually watch it instead of shorts, the women are really interesting and get respected regardless of their views as long as they're respectful too. The "dumb" women have changed my mind on things and made me see a woman's perspective on things better.
Complain all you like about podcasts like Whatever, but never forget there's still the view that let's women reveal their stupidity to the world without a man running it.

You need to listen to negative XP's "Scott pilgrim vs the world ruined a whole generation of women." That song has become a part of a butterfly effect of why modern women are portrayed in such a negative light on the net.
I'm not so sure women were ruined. They were merely allowed to do as they pleased and many became what we see on these podcasts. Using sexuality to get attention is their nature. You'll notice the Vtuber character model isn't flat-chested & wearing a modest blouse buttoned to the neck.

The whole argument about them bringing on low intelligent women comes off as hierarchical elitism. First off, how do you judge a person as low intelligence before bringing them on? Are they giving the iq tests? Are we going with the superficial route where you just here what they say and go "oh obviously this is an invalid. That's just fucked up. Second, the guys on their likely sound slightly better because that's their job. To just sit there and talk. Are they supposed to only talk to other podcasts? How is that not fucked up too? However, I feel that's just off, just trying to wave away your bias as I can agree with the out of context clipping. However, she this all comes off as very biased against those guys. Like the big thing to point out. She says she reached out to that lady, but had no mention of reaching out to that guy as well for comments about any of this. If she really feels this way, how about going on the podcast herself and express all this and see what they have to say. Again, can get the issue with cipping out of context stuff. However, it seems there is more to this as she seems to be too invested on this topic. As if she is intent on designating this whatever podcast as the lightning for everything that's wrong right now. People always seem to get the whole symptom vs cause flipped which bugs me a lot. I would simply call out the poor clipping and ask them to respond. I dislike both the original video and Alana's response to it. Sydney absolutely had an objective with her video, and cherry picked specific situations to make her points. She also seemed to lack knowledge of who was actually a host of the show, who was a guest, and how guests are picked. Are their shorts edited to lack context? Sometimes, but not nearly as often as she'd imagine. Alana's tangent about everybody cranking one out to the chicks is assumptive as well. I don't watch often, and when I do it's not to crank one out to the whores. I watch because I think the hosts bring up good points about things going on in the world. Sydney says they never offer solutions to the problems they discuss, but they absolutely do. Is the solution more often than not 'stop being a whore?' Yes. That doesn't make it less of a solution though. Also love that they keep connected fresh and fit to whatever, but only show whatever. They're similar from the surface, but the conversions are wildly different. I have my own problems with the whatever podcast, which is why I don't often watch it, but most of them aren't even highlighted by either woman.
I remember that kne podcast where they were like "We're gonna rate each other based on appearance alone. No one's gonna get offended here" First girl gives him like a 5 out of 10 and they immediately kick her off.
For all of this rage engagement stuff... the only long-term solution I can think of is that there needs to be a law where all social media platforms are required to add a method of negatively engaging with content (dislikes, community notes, reports, etc.) And that these negative engagements will push that content down in the algorithm equally as hard as positive engagement will push it up. That way negative engagement will do what we expect it to do, how it works in irl encounters. This is how it works on reddit and how it USED to work on many platforms. Will it reintroduce methods for coordinated bullying and encourage echo chambers? Absolutely. However, I believe these problems are easier to organically combat than rage bait that is being boosted by negative interaction having positive benefits for the contents visibility. Rage bait is a natural result of all attention being financially beneficial, and negative attention being disconnected from any consequences. Companies also benefit from this unhealthy status quo so it needs to be some kind of law. Alternatively you could have it be that a peice of content simply becomes demonetized after it reaches a certain threshold of negative interaction. Cause I'm pretty sure much of this rage content only exists because it generates money.
@@mrSaber79 Do you not see how allowing the mob to kill content they gang up on might end up stifling any and all discourse outside of 'approved thoughts'?
@@chillchinna4164 Yes. That's what I meant by "encourage echo chambers". The current "all engagement is good engagement" model was partially meant to counter echo-chambers. However, I personally believe the this created a problem bigger than the one it was meant to solve, and it didn't even solve the one it was meant to. The reason I believe it's worse is that it directly counter-intuitive to human social behavior. The REASON humans rage at something is to draw the attention to it so that we can collectively chastise it and excise it from the group. It's a natural socio-mammalian response AND a predation defense mechanism. Companies have hijacked this response to generate more ad-revenue and I believe it is an overall net negative. In this I believe that, while it does make coordinated mobbing possible and encourages echo chambers, I believe it ALSO discourages inflammatory dialogue. Society IS a popularity contest and society works best when the most popular people are the ones who have the most agreeable opinion to the widest number of people. Tl;dr: on average, what might seem like "mob justice" I believe is actually closer to "public consensus", and that true "mob justice" is an extreme that would only occur occasionally.

I hate this type of podcast too, but I also hate the hypocritical stance people have on it, like women haven't been doing that to men for decades. 😂 Every TV show, movie, book and podcast in the last few decades made for women have been degrading men and try to make men as a whole look stupid and/or dangerous. And it wasn't a problem until men started doing it to women. 😂
Dumb people should wear a sign that says "I'm stupid" around their neck so you don't ask them anything. "Excuse me- oh silly me I didn't see your sign" -Bill Engvall.
The whole takeaway from this is that these women are not forced to say anything. They are saying these things if their own volition. Whether they are prepared or not is on them. What they say is on them. They are 100% accountable. This podcast exposes this behavior. It doesn't claim all women are like this. It just makes naive men aware, and helps turn innocent wyvern away from this.

Honestly I could see women watching this. Think about it. Women tend to be more into drama stuff and gossip. What better way then showcasing women so the female viewer is like “at least I’m not like her!”
Most family shows and sitcoms portray the leading man figure as stupid, and no one cares. The Simpsons is what first comes to mind. Interesting that only now, when women are not portrayed as good, it's "dividing the sexes". And it's not even mass media but a RUclips channel.
@@Mao_Dedong Cool, but morning shows like "The View" laugh at men with no repercussions, either. And even if sitcoms aren't real, why are they one-sided? those clips don't get the views. if i make a podcast that for 5% of the runtime promotes dog-fighting, and then for 95% attacks any form of animal abuse... but you only saw clips of the 5% you'd wrongly think i want to make dogs fight. i'm not saying Whatever is a 5/95 split, but what parts get visibility is important and it's something that's done with conscious choice. they can't hide behind being an "intelligent discussion" when they're promoting the lowest common denominator. if they were really about intellectual discourse, they'd bury those moments and only promote the best debates between informed men & women.

Love the new intro, because when chibi Alana goes fire mode she looks thicker
What makes her go fire mode?

I'm all for making fun of dumb people doing dumb things but it has to be based in fact as well
Cant show clips of people saying a dumb thing but then 5 seconds prior, something adds an incredible amount of context
Rage and mockery need to be based in fact, not convenience
You should watch the Act Man take one of his first L's, supporting Payday 3.
What's the context? What happened
@@Grymm6698Payday 3 gave content creators a good version of the build and had them talk about how good the game was, then when it released no one could play the game because the public build was broken. Act man stood by what he said and doubled down on making fun of his audience that he had recommended to buy the game and how they couldn't play. I may be absolutely forgetting things if I'm being honest or missed some info.

the most superficial men have a talk show with the most superficial women, then both groups claim the other is the problem. meanwhile the normal people look on in horror, coming to the realization that people on the same level of intelligence as the cast of Jersey Shore actually exist.
what normal people? the people who vote democrat are 100% not normal and the rest and not that smart either...stop with the BS normal people trope.
The guys aren't really superficial.
If so, give examples as to how they are superficial.
@@Cragmortis
Both groups give a laundry list of what they desire in a partner, most of which are unreasonable and idealistic demands.
Both groups believe every member of the other group (men or women) is exactly the same. To secure one as a mate, the person in question must meet certain criteria which almost always have to do with their body, money, social standing, etc.
For the men specifically, the host and his group will almost always ask the women their body count, or what they rate themselves out of ten, only to tear them apart and berate them.
This is a wildly accurate take on the Whatever Podcast
@@Colonel-Sigma Laundry list? Isn't the only desire of the men on the podcast is to have a traditional wife?

Just wanted to say, like the intro here. The transition to ice pup to fire pup is cute.
This is bad faith
21:39 while maybe not everyone will pick up on it, the phrase "it got to a point where" implies something was escalating, and it's in past tense. Usually it's referring to a past addiction, so that's the conclusion I drew immediately. I understand not everyone picks up on that without having it pointed out to them tho
No one's gonna get offended here"
First girl gives him like a 5 out of 10 and they immediately kick her off.
That makes no sense. Reddit doesn't promote disliked stuff. Not enough karma means you can't even post at all
@@Josh-sz8ip that's what I said. I was using Reddit as an example of how it should be.
@@mrSaber79Mob justice it is then. Expression allowed to those who manage to be liked by most.

I hate this type of podcast too, but I also hate the hypocritical stance people have on it, like women haven't been doing that to men for decades. 😂
Every TV show, movie, book and podcast in the last few decades made for women have been degrading men and try to make men as a whole look stupid and/or dangerous.
And it wasn't a problem until men started doing it to women. 😂

You can't fix stupid. There's not a pill you can take, a class you can go too. Stupid is forever. - Ron White.

You can't "make" someone look dumb. All you can do is broadcast them doing it themselves.
10:19 she pulled out a HAWK TUAH and no one even noticed.
Because everyone knows that sitcoms like the Simpsons aren`t real?
@@Mao_Dedong Cool, but morning shows like "The View" laugh at men with no repercussions, either.
And even if sitcoms aren't real, why are they one-sided? In the '90s, TVs were turned on most of the time in the majority of houses. Kids were raised, absorbing them like sponges.
And I'm not against it, but making it ok to laugh only at one gender isn't.
@@Mao_Dedong then obviously, whatever podcast and etc is supposed to be known for not being real too. But people have huge brain lag exactly at the moment when it's about men.
I wonder who thought that getting women in power is such a great idea, when they are the only one who fail to solve anyone else issue, since it's not thier issue. Internet age is here and knowledge about men is spreading like wild fire, but truth about women is guarded by God himself, even when it's in plain sight
@@Mao_Dedong Mid day TV from the 70's to now~
You have an all you can eat of examples that are real. No need to try and nitpick a hard truth.
I mean, it's hardly even a stereotype when your average dude glazes over if you start explaining detailed scientific topics and things physical work is all they can do.
Sure it's not as much anti-intellectualism as it was when the simpsons was made, nowadays it's more cause the average dude is depressed cause toxic masculinity has finally crashed fully.
Many of the women in these podcasts are highly educated, with very educated opinions.it's bad fate to judge a show you haven't watch enough to judge.
The problem is the same as fresh & fit, they invite women that are content creators or directly bimbos, sometimes (most) without even telling them what they're going to talk about, with the intention of saying that most women are like that and not ""high value""
2 single women, talk down about a show that shows women acting badly.

@@SSODP Yeah this is a pretty L take from alana, at least watch the show first. He's really not trying to make them look dumb, he just asks controversial questions and it's on them to respond, even asking the same set of questions every single episode and remind you these women literally reached out and signed up to be on the podcast so he's not selecting them in any way. They know the questions in advance and they're the ones who actively reached out and signed up to be on the show, how is that his fault if they say something dumb?? Lotta intelligent women come on the show, at least one or two almost every episode and they actually argue against the dumb things the other women say. How is anyone gonna accuse the host of being sexist and then actively call every woman on the podcast dumb without actually watching it?
those clips don't get the views.
if i make a podcast that for 5% of the runtime promotes dog-fighting, and then for 95% attacks any form of animal abuse... but you only saw clips of the 5% you'd wrongly think i want to make dogs fight.
i'm not saying Whatever is a 5/95 split, but what parts get visibility is important and it's something that's done with conscious choice.
they can't hide behind being an "intelligent discussion" when they're promoting the lowest common denominator. if they were really about intellectual discourse, they'd bury those moments and only promote the best debates between informed men & women.
@@DrakeOola "How is anyone gonna accuse the host of being sexist and then actively call every woman on the podcast dumb without actually watching it?"
In short, fem¡n¡sts...
The "lenghtier more explanatory answer" is as follows:
Sydney, did a show with Elaijah Schaffer, why They stoped is unclear, but Her takes were often quite fem¡n¡st, and here again She does the same thing:
- women are not to be held accountable for dumb actions! IT'S A SET UP!!! Ugh! These men are trying to make women look dumb!!!
Which is only further highlighted by Alana, jumping in to help spin it as "they say women dumb, chat!"... as I said, innate response, hive-mind defends itself.
- and while there was no real push back against "men bashing shows/media", it's only a problem if it happens to women, shows against men gone for decades, few years of a podcast and the world is in flames!
"how is that his fault if they say something dumb??"
- cHeRry pIcKeD, oUtTa cOnTeXt!!! hE sEt tHeM uP!!!
I guessed that will be basically the whole video... but Sydney, had to "take seriously" what looked like a joke, just to continue hammering home the point, THAT THESE POOR WOMEN ARE VICTIMS!!!
