it took 3 yrs for the game to come out as i see 1988 copyright date in the title screen, ive always picture the game coming out 1991 as i saw it in arcades at that time.
There was an Atari Jaguar CDROM release of this planned - there was a promo trailer on the Braindead 13 game for it. I regret not trying to find it if it did get released.
wow the pacing is so bad, the voiced lines just fall behind as the timeline advances before they can finish. They need moments you can stop to take in the story elements.
Yeah, I thought the same thing when me and my brother saw it at Southend the first time around. The action is way too zany overall when compared to the original and nowhere near as eye-catching. Indeed, it wasn't long at all before it was relegated to the rear of arcades and simply forgotten about. (T_T)

im sure the cost of the machine put it on the back burner for many arcades, picking up second hand or discounted units after a few years.
Oh I had this one for PC at that time, I always felt the gameplay less polished in comparison to the first, but the animation was great.

Its just not as good as the original game IMHO.

I like the room by room structure of the original where Timewarp is more like an end to end cartoon with no variation.
