Dude! I am liking your performance.
I heard this song this morning (Sept. 4, '22) on SiriusXM's 70s-on-7's "Top 1,000 Songs of the 1970s." I very, very, very vaguely remembered it from way back in the way-back days. I did not know the title nor the artist. So I went on da net and searched, "I'll Stay With You Awhile." Luckily my guess as to the title was close enough that I got a hit to the correct song. Awesome, Dude. Cool!
I am a professional singer/pianist/entertainer for seniors. I think they will like this song. Like you, I am not a duo. Thus I will sing the same lyrics as you do.
