not that it matters at all because The spirit of your acronym video was 100% fun and interesting. Technically Acronyms are abbreviations that are pronounced as words, like PIL. abbreviations like D.K. & D.O.A are usually called initialisms. All these things are forms of abbreviation and fit into the category you were presenting. And the hate speech thing is of course ridiculous and another symptom of our bot-run online world. Keep on fighting man.
I was just having a bit of with the acronym thread. Basically, using it as an excuse to incorporate showing some records in a video dealing with the youtube hate speech policy.

Hey Richie, blames goes to the youtube algorithm for the automatic censorship. A few days ago I got a video removed from tiktok because I showed Nirvana's Nevermind album. It was flagged for child pornography! I appealed for review, and they restored the video the next day :)
The bots are taking over.

The problem with the RUclips hate speech policy is that it’s all run by computers and no human being is involved. Once again we trade common sense in for rules and regulations.

@@vinylrichie007I was going to write that that’s how I get around it by adding symbols. I also do that in WhatNot because we get flagged and only the host can see the comments. And it’s hilarious because author’s names like Philip K Dick and Michael Moorcock (lol, you gotta laugh) get you flagged.

I recently watched a Beavis and Butthe@d episode where they are meditating, and they get to the next level. It was so funny.
RUclips is getting worse every year. I think the A.I. thing has made it worse. It can't tell between a funny stage name & an insult. Software is making the decisions now not humans.

If the hate speech is identified by computers, then the computers should easily be able to respond, not only by banishing the offender for 24 hours, but also by identifying specifically what they interpreted as the language of hate.
Ostensibly, I’m a hater because I prefer male sports announcers on tv to cover the historically male sports … football, baseball, hockey, wrestling, boxing, etc.,
By announcing this preference, I’m deemed a hater of women? I’ve somehow subtracted from their dignity? I am not a woman hater in any general sense. I don’t much care for Hillary, for example, but I don’t hate her. I wish her no harm.

Generally, women announcers doing football is annoying. Every game now has to have a good looking female sideline reporter. I don't watch the NBA much anymore. The has gotten boring. I have been watching the Fever games and I have no issue with the female announcers. The Dodgers have one female announcer now. She played college softball. She not only knows the game but she is better than a couple of the male announcers. The Dodgers broadcasts are very good since Vin Scully retired.
@@vinylrichie007 In my opinion, all announcers, male and female, are so enamored of themselves that that’s what they do best … tell listeners all the war stories they have experienced, or worse, detail the technicalities of the sport that a general fan doesn’t want to hear. If I wanted to be coached, I’d go hire a coach.
That McDonald guy from LSU does college baseball … I have to mute the sound. I don’t want to know how to grip to throw a 3-seam fastball, and it’s for damned sure my wife doesnt care.
They have no reservoir of interesting human interest stories about the players they are witnessing, other than “I went duck hunting with him one day, we wrestle an alligator, and he makes great gumbo.” They don’t even give the recipe. (I make really good duck gumbo.)

I was going to enter the acronym contest but then I realized I didn't have a thorough understanding of the definition of the word. I always thought FBI is an acronym, but it's not, it's an initialism. An acronym is pronounced as a word. So I can thank ATWAS and the VC in general for clarifying that for me. Now it's too late to enter - all the acronyms and initialisms have been shown. I think I might do a related video where I discuss the initialisms we used to use during Grateful Dead tape-trading days. Who wants to write out Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad when you can write GDTRFB. Or Greatest Story Ever Told when GSET identifies the song perfectly. So be on the lookout for a GD anachronism special. I guess the RUclips computer thought that you were calling Rekkid Talk a ________....lol

I've had my comments " Paused To Protect The Community " twice for 24 hours & each time responded to the screen shot with an explanation & YT admitted their error on one occasion but not until the 24 hours had elapsed. Since those suspensions I get lots of 404 & 503 codes & comment / reply won't post so I don't comment of post a real vanilla one instead of dealing with another 24 hour time-out !
