@@dylanleff373 No, she was 16. If it weren't for the teacher aspect, that's actually completely legal in a lot of places, including many states in the US. Not to mention, once she graduated, they would have completely both been consenting adults.
It's nice seeing other people who were invested in this relationship. It's close to the most emotionally entrenched I've been in a tv relationship and makes me feel way more than I should, and yet I can't express that because 1: pretty much no one knows this show exists, and 2: if they did, most people would think I'm a creep for liking their relationship.
Honestly their relationship was so amazing. Like besides the fact he was a teacher. I hated the way they broke up, I literally cried. I really thought their relationship would have gone one longer if the show wasn't canceled.
I could never understand this ship! He's her teacher for god's sake. It's like Aria and Ezra all over again. She deserved better and somebody her own age when she was in high school.
I loved them but this was never going to end well with them. Eric couldn't stop torturing himself which is understandable. She was freaking 16 and he was like 22
