1. Defined Overall strategy. If HRE is going FC for relics, what do you want your English player to do? Feudal aggression, 2TC, other? Didn't feel like their was a cohesive team strategy.
2. When aging up, focusing on what mil/eco technologies need to be researched. If you are aging up, castle age technologies should be immediately (or soon thereafter) in the que. if you are floating gold, check to see what technologies need to be research. If you are floating gold and have gotten research, make units or make a market to trade resources
3. Raiding. The gameplay was mostly passive, as your enemies were not raided (except one really good raid with knights). This allowed you enemy to be comfortable, execute their build order, make eco, make a large army, and defeat you. Once you have knights, try to get into the enemy eco constantly to raid, kill eco, cause idle time, and gain map control

Thank you for focusing and talking about the strategy behind the age ups and what we could have done with this, tbh this is the hardest part of the game for me. When I saw my Chapel placement and wheelbarrow I know exactly how to fix it because it's obvious, but the strategy is way harder to understand. Thank you so much!
