Constant hand washing during the performance is a satirical mockery of the preventive recommendations of health "experts" whom we will forever remember from 2020. 💙💙💙
Also, last strophe, which is in Latin, talks that our body could be healthy but at the same time we could have some other problems like mental health problems and things like that. So this song has so many messages, so many different layers. IN CORPORE SANO is so complex it is difficult to even choose some of the points Konstrakta made in her song and performance... well noted - it also leaves a lot of space for viewers´ to develop their own story... visually - strong references to Marina Abramovich, washing hands - hygiene, obsession with cleanliness, obsession with our physical health and appearance and completely ignoring mental. Lyrics are sometimes almost cynical (obsession with celebrities and their looks), sometimes deeply emotional (when she speaks of her long walks with her dog when she feels free and liberated), but definitely delivering a strong message. The line "UMETNICA MORA BITI ZDRAVA" (The artist must be healthy) is another strong reference to afore mentioned Marina Abramovich (Art must be Beautiful, The Artist must be Beautiful), but on a social critique level it is a reference to the struggles of artists to survive without steady income and support of the system (which is a global phenomenon, but also an ongoing issue in Serbia). The final point are the lyrics at the very end of the song performed in Latin: "Mens infirma in corpore sano, Animus tristis in corpore sano, Mens desperata in corpore sano, Mens conterrita in corpore sano" (Weak mind in a healthy body, aching soul in a healthy body, desperate mind in a healthy body, terrified mind in a healthy body) bringing the question of the mental health (especially in these troubled timed)... and finally, maybe unintentionally, current tragedy of war and how we all symbolically "wash our hands of responsibility"... Anyhow, CORPORE SANO is above all an original and unusual choice for Eurovision, but it is also very serious and reflective... not to everyone´s taste, of course, but, as Latins would say "De gustibus non est disputandum!" :) ... Serbia choose a smart song and a very talented and intelligent performer... KONSTRAKTA is well known and highly regarded here! This is what would probably happen if Marina A. and Bjork had a baby! :D 100000 hugs from Serbia!!!

@@Wiwibloggs Pontius Pilate knew what he was doing when he said he was washing his hands of Jesus ’blood after the crowd forced him to make a difficult decision and sentence Jesus to death by crucifixion. Namely, scientists from the University of Michigan claim that people who wash their hands well before making a difficult decision actually ease their conscience and make the decision easier, as if they take the blame off themselves for the consequences their decision will cause.
This is performance art. I am officially obsessed. 😍👏👏 The song is about artists being invisible in the health system in Serbia. Being an independent artist it affects her access to public health services and so private health insurance is expensive. In corpore sano means a healthy body in latin. It refers to the need for artists to have healthy bodies in order to work. Towards the end of the song she refers to mental health saying that a depressed mind can live in a healthy body, referring to our obsession with appearance and taboo surrounding mental health issues, especially within health systems. Finally, the constant washing of hands may be a reference to governments placing responsibility on the public during covid to constantly wash their hands to distract us from crumbling and inadequate health systems worldwide and also could be an homage to marina abramovic who combed her constantly during a performance art piece whilst saying art is beautiful. This entry is totally captivating, profound, performative and has a great hook to keep you gripped. We'll done Serbia.
Honestly it's a really strange song and I absolutely love it. It's so intriguing and it pulls me in to want to hear more and understand it more. For me it really captured the fear I had with the whole pandemic situation. I also love how "Bože zdravlja"(God give me health basically) almost sounds like a mantra and it's all very meditative.
no it doesn't talk about health directly as narrative, but rather as metaphor! It's a HUGE artistic protest against brain drain, importance of keeping your sense healthy and not believe everything you hear, see, talk! Healthy common sense is part of all of us, just has to keep it straight. GREAT HUMAN MESSAGE IN THIS MASTER PIECE!
Listen to the the rhythm ! ! ! You will hear the heartbeat in it. Bum-bum bum-bum... I'm so glad that you have a positive reaction and curiosity to learn more about this song and from it. This is pure conceptional art. Happy to see her representing my country.
I didn’t know if I liked this song to start with but this morning at 6:30am I woke with the lyrics “biti zdrava, biti biti biti biti zdrava” in my head, so now I know I love it! Well done Serbia 🇷🇸 🇲🇰 🇦🇺
This was one of my favorite songs of the season from first listen. Thrilled that it won. What a triumph! I was listening to it every day, loving the soundscape, feeling that it had meaning but not yet understanding the words. When I read the lyrics.... wow... this song has impact!
The song has many layers. The Megan Merkle part is the headline that was in Serbia in 2020, and she mentions it as something that people value has become a lot more superficial. She then directs it to the artist's situation, as they would be considered unemployed in Serbia in order to get healthcare. By the way, the part of with their bandmate is untrue. She has denied that meaning behind the song. As a Serb, I am very proud to be represented by Konstrakta, no matter the results in ESC! She literally won us over in two days and I am happy to see us sending something new to ESC. ❤
This song after the semifinals suddenly became a hit, entered yt trending as the first and convincingly beat all the favorites in the finals. The artist must be healthy, she says the song and I say the artist sold us the story.
I am so happy you guys appreciated this peace of art. It's hard to expect that wide audience will like it but when it comes to the two of you it's precious seeing your openness, curiosity and they way you share it with the ESC fans. Stay awesome 💛
This art was not even made to be voted for - it was made to become an anthem. I am not sure how much E fans can understand, the moment in which Serbia finds itself, but also the position of artists in our country. This woman did not even come to compete, but to convey the message, but the people found themselves, and fortunately there were people in the jury, except for the singer, who recognized the value. Pure art!
I love the most about this song, that you can understand it in sooo many ways. There is not only one right interpretation. It makes you wondering, thinking - and honestly: ISN'T EXACTLY THAT THE PURPOSE OF ART? 🙂🙂
3:21 "I don't have social insurance!" Deep lyrics! Deep message! "Artist don't have medical insurance, so it "must" be healthy!" Must?! We are just "washing" our hands off each other, while people still dying somewhere... (while we wear pink glasses?) In what world do we live? This song is a high art satiric masterpiece!
What is Konstrakta? This is what she replied in the interview "Ah. I already forgot. On the one hand, I counted a lot of syllables, verses and rules of some new words, constructed something that was interesting to me. I don't do that anymore. On the other hand, at that time I was studying architecture and the subject of Art History, which was taught by Professor Šuvaković, talked about constructs, primarily social ones. So I saw the whole world and all the phenomena as a construct. Both myself and the song. There is no mystery" She is a very cool, educated, intelligent and deep person. She just expressed herself in a form of pure art and got surprised so many people loved it!
I can't believe how everyone misses the handwashing moment, while handwashing, distance-keeping, mask-wearing have been the recommendations we have been bombarded with for the past two years? The entire song talks about the obsession with the body and physical health ("What is the secret of Megan Markle's healthy hair?" - This is an example of many, many similar titles in women's magazines, along with the all reels, vlogs, blogs...morning routines, evening routines, what I eat in a day, exercises for ____, detox, etc.) while the mental health of the population is deteriorating. COVID pandemic also exacerbated this, emphasizing physical health and safety while no one had any strategies to help people cope with the psychological side of it. And we know the load it brought onto our mental health.
Very good comment and real post virus issue all around the World. Increase of mental health issues, and no concern for people who had those kind of issues during pandemic. This song is raising awareness of taking care not only about body but spirit too .
At first this song gives me the energy of when the teacher says you have to be silent and you can't stop laughing but towards the end I actually started vibing with the song. If this advances to the final, it will definitely be one of the most tweeted about by the casual fan (especially from UK) regardless of Serbia's result.
At the end she does not say "Mossad". She says: "I šta ćemo sad?", meaning: "And what are we going to do now?". It is a clear message and invitation for change, for a better world. This song is much better in Serbian as it is. If it would be translated in English it would not be so attractive. For example, she says: "Nemam knjižicu". It is a whole topic behind it and simple translation would not have any sense.
The uniqueness of this song makes it a really big contender for the final. I’ve seen a few particular songs win Eurovision before. This could be one of them!
This song is about so many things I cannot evem put them all here. She is singing about society being obsessed about always looking perfect and always having to follow the latest trends (what is the secret behind Megan Markle's healthy hair), as someone said she is also using a female as an example because women are those who are always expected to look perfect all the time. Double standards at its best. She says "an artist has to be healthy", that is also why she is washing her hands in an OCD manner (because of the pandemic), she has no health insurance so she has to be healthy otherwise she won't get treated ("how will they monitor me, how will they care for me" ), kinda raises an issue of the health care system in Serbia, and also in many other countries. Also the hand washing is kind of a mockery of what we are doing right now trying to avoid the virus. She says that she "gives trust" in her heart to keep beating, and in an interview explains this saying that not everything health related is in our hands, we cannot fully control if we're healthy or not so sometimes we should just live and enjoy small moments in life (the part where she sings about her walking her dog and enjoying a summer day). The last part in Latin means In a healthy body, sad soul, In a healthy body desperate mind, In a healthy body frightened mind. This is about how we were oh-so focused on our physical health during the pandemic, and we completely forgot about our mental health, it doesn't even necesseraly have to do with pandemic, people usually tend to care less about their mental health, which is equally as important. Hope this helps 💜
...in fact, this is brilliant work of art, with deep meaning, clear message, perfect, feminine sarcasm and great rhythm. And I especially liked her striking calmness, as well as the simple scenography. Pure art...
This is a masterpiece! Its art! Its depth! And a good beat! So many important messages hidden all over! One of the messages is not to be superficial… Text, act, Latin with Serbian, vibe, visual stage performance by washing hands, which may be interpretated as avoiding and skipping responsibility in a deeper conection!!! ITS JUST SOMETHING ELSE!!! A gift to modern world!!!💖Serbia was responsible for the creation of the modern world by giving the world brilliant minds, and one of them ONLY invented electricity! Today pointing out the problema of the modern world and just giving a gift with best wishes, to become better individuals, and love ourselves and take care of each other!!! GO SERBIA, GO WORLD! HVALA!!!💖

Little book is referred to "little health book" ("zdravstvena knjižica" in Serbian), a document issued to people who have statutory health insurance in Serbia. Today, this document is in plastic card form, but in the past, the document was issued on a piece of very thick paper which would then fold in two places to resemble a small book that can be opened. Even though today it takes the card form, it is still officially called and referred to as a "little health book".

The whole song is about human health and appearance, and especially about the toxic expectation from women to always look perfect. Konstrakta confirms the mentioned saying by saying:"Corpus je sanum"-"the body is healthy"and wonders what is next. Also, since artists in serbia don’t have health insurance she’s trying to raise awarness about this problem using irony (“artist has to be healthy”

100000 hugs from Serbia!!!
Yes, baby of Marina!
The part when she walks her dog is referring to the steps counting app since its healthy to walk. :D
👏👏👏
Also, one point is that people started to cure themselves by going online and read symptoms, just as she says in first verse
Amazing analysis
This is an avangarda and absolutely music masterpiece.....Art of philosophy conducted by music and words .... it's is a criticism of society and position of artist in society...I am so glad that this kind of artists still exist in world particularly in my country...my the best regards for you
Super napisano!

Honestly i dont care if it doesnt do good, it is f-ing amazing!
In Corpore Sano is a really different, authentic and original entry i like how it has a message that has to be conveyed about today’s medical issues! Go Konstrakta!🍀
Well said.
And it's not just about medical, this song have several messages
@@Wiwibloggs
Pontius Pilate knew what he was doing when he said he was washing his hands of Jesus ’blood after the crowd forced him to make a difficult decision and sentence Jesus to death by crucifixion. Namely, scientists from the University of Michigan claim that people who wash their hands well before making a difficult decision actually ease their conscience and make the decision easier, as if they take the blame off themselves for the consequences their decision will cause.
Hvala❤️
Well, we do say "Bože zdravlja" as a part of the sentence (like a small prayer) if we are eager and intend to see a good event in the future.
@@reisshep Exactly. It's almost like a splash of hope and reassurance.
no it doesn't talk about health directly as narrative, but rather as metaphor!
This song is pure art!
Bravo Konstrakta!
Beautiful!
That last chorus in Latin 🤯🔥🔥
She is a glitch in matrix and we are proud of her
Можеш да будеш песникиња.
Hated it on first listen. Once you learn the context, it's a magnificant work of art. Serbia potential winners!
People, this is high class
I am so happy you guys appreciated this peace of art. It's hard to expect that wide audience will like it but when it comes to the two of you it's precious seeing your openness, curiosity and they way you share it with the ESC fans. Stay awesome 💛
Thank you so much Slo!
I love you guys and i love konstrakta! 🤗
Deban's facial expression says it all. 1:38 Konstrakta is phenomenal.
Its not just for serbia its for whole world....
This is brilliant!
So much fun!

Liked it from day one, next year in Serbia
This art was not even made to be voted for - it was made to become an anthem. I am not sure how much E fans can understand, the moment in which Serbia finds itself, but also the position of artists in our country. This woman did not even come to compete, but to convey the message, but the people found themselves, and fortunately there were people in the jury, except for the singer, who recognized the value. Pure art!
Pure art. Unique, different, modern, educational and very informative. Go Konstrakta!
SERBIA 🥳💪💪💪🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
Brividi and this song are my tops by far.
THANK YOU SERBIA YOU SAVE EUROVISION THIS YEAR WITH THIS MASTERPIECE❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love the most about this song, that you can understand it in sooo many ways. There is not only one right interpretation. It makes you wondering, thinking - and honestly: ISN'T EXACTLY THAT THE PURPOSE OF ART? 🙂🙂
masterpiece and hypnotic at the same time!!!
This is what she replied in the interview
"Ah. There is no mystery"
She is a very cool, educated, intelligent and deep person.
We choose to risk this year and I love it! 😌💖🇷🇸
It's basically a sterilized artpop. Well done Serbia! 10 points so far!!!
You just said it very well!! Thank you ❤
Thanks for watching!
The best song this year!!! ❤️
Wow. We NEEDED something this deep and engaged, ironic, even cynical. So deep in so many levels. Wake up call. Well done!
I lile your video and your impression on serbian song. Love from Serbia! ❤️

The best song! This is genius and with deep and original message! Congrats Serbia for briliant and unique song 👏🏻
Perfoming art
This is very contagious and ingenious! Thanks Konstrakta, you are so intelligent! I can't wait for the performance in Turin, I think we have a winner
I think that main masage is that we are obsessed with healthy body but we forget to take care of our soul.
Love from Serbia ❤❤❤❤
...in fact, this is brilliant work of art, with deep meaning, clear message, perfect, feminine sarcasm and great rhythm. And I especially liked her striking calmness, as well as the simple scenography. Pure art...
This song came last to party but left with biiiiig impression,in one day won millions of us here and deservedly so won
This song has layers, one is about how important menthal health is.
Greetings from Serbia.
Top song of esc 2022....12 from Croatia
HVALA!!!💖
Message of this song is that people are striving to have a healthy body, but mind is the one that is at risk of sickness
omg serbia is so amazing!!!!1

PROPER ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Konstrakta - In a Healthy Body
I wonder what's the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair?
I wonder what's the secret?
I wonder what's the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair?
I wonder what's the secret? (I wonder what's the secret?)
I think that
Deep hydration is what it is
They say that
One's skin and hair show everything clearly
For example, dark circles around the eyes
Could indicate liver problems
Blemishes around the lips, enlarged spleen perhaps?
Enlarged spleen is not good, it's not pretty
And the artist, she needs to be healthy
Be healthy, be healthy, be healthy
B-b-b be healthy
Be healthy, be healthy, be healthy
She must be, she must be, she must be
We're incredibly lucky
That there's such a thing as the autonomic nervous system
I don't need to control my own heart beats
The heart beats, the heart beats on its own
Bright colors of a summer day
My skirts are on my body,
My skirts, the dog and I
The two of us are talking a walk
We're counting the steps
The skirt goes around my leg
We are taking a walk, and that's it
And it doesn't need to get any better than this
The heart beats on its own
I put my trust in it
Let it beat on its own
I put my trust in it
Let it beat, let me breathe
God, give me health
God, give me health
God, give me health
(God, give me health)
I don't have health insurance*
How will they be able to keep track of me? (In the name of health)
To care for me? (In the name of health)
The artist, she is invisible (In the name of health)
You don't see me, it's magic (In the name of health)
The artist, she can be healthy
Be healthy, be healthy, be healthy
B-b-b be healthy
Be healthy, be healthy, be healthy
She can be, she can be, she can be
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
The body is healthy
So now what?
A sick mind in a healthy body
A sad soul in a healthy body
A desperate mind in a healthy body
A terrified mind in a healthy body
So now what?
* Literal translation: "I don't have the little book." Little book is referred to "little health book" ("zdravstvena knjižica" in Serbian), a document issued to people who have statutory health insurance in Serbia. Today, this document is in plastic card form, but in the past, the document was issued on a piece of very thick paper which would then fold in two places to resemble a small book that can be opened. Even though today it takes the card form, it is still officially called and referred to as a "little health book".
FTJP!
She is so iconic, she doesn't even need to get up!!!!This is unique and a message to whole world... who is watching us, are we really free.. is there any freedom .. do we have the right to think by our own head...IS THE RIGHT TO BE HEALTHY GUARANTEED TO EVERYONE AS SOVEREIGN HUMAN RIGHT! Performance and song ttl ICONIC!!... oh my God, song with so many layers.. she just changed concept Of Eurovision... and colours blue yellow flag.. oh my God
Weird but wonderful❤️
Master piece ready for refresh old style eurosong! Song is awesome!❤️ Turn on translate! ❤️
In my opinion Serbia will win Eurovision. It`s song with important message and it`s catchy song:)
Može, može, može ❤
This is more a performance than a song. Something which you would pay to go to visit and witness rather than to hear on the radio. Unusual for Eurovision, but that is why it stands out 😉
Obssesed with this song!
The TRUTH IS ALWAYS MEDITATIVE!!!
She is singing about deep thruth!!
Song is on may levels!
Ma dajjj. I nezaposleni imaju zdravstveno... Ako ne placaju doprinose, naravno da umetnici nemaju nista.... To je tako sa svim... Al ste se svi primili
The song is the anthem of all the people who have been fighting against the pharmaco - eugenics mafia - the corrupt system of global health policy for the past two years. 💙💙💙 The song is a satire on the account of the state health system, but also on the account of the entire social view of health. The most important part of the song is when he says - "I don't have a booklet, and how can they follow me in the name of" health ". This verse describes the state's false concern for the health of the population, and we have been bombarded with this false concern for the past two years. Constant hand washing during the performance is a satirical mockery of the preventive recommendations of health "experts" whom we will forever remember from 2020.💙💙💙

This is first time I have heard this song and I am Serbian. The song is a winner. Really I found it top, I predict she will win.
I am glad you liked it, you guys even sang it with her even though you don't understand words and you did it well! We are very proud at our choice this year, because it's so different and original and it's a satire and a win over everything that was already seen, including naked buts and etno sounds 😁
Konstrakta is level up.
Go, girl.
Great entry! Well bloody done Serbia 😊😊 She reminds me of Annie Lennox when in 1987 she sang "I love to listen to beethoven" with Eurythmics and it's funny that this singer is the lookalike of Quinn, the psycho wife of Eric Forrester in "The bold and the Beautiful"
This is a song that has never appeared at the Eurovision Song Contest with such a strong message for the whole world, this is a masterpiece listen, look at every scene in each there is a message for the world we live in the problem is to be better people is the most important message of this masterpiece
