Don't worry about climate change - just clean up the rubbish that is engulfing the planet! Your doing a great job Dave and Helen, being proactive with collecting the rubbish. I believe its an education thing. I live in Australia and there was a rubbish issue in the 70's and 80's until they ran some strong tv campaigns and went into the schools to educate kids about it. Unfortunately people will have to be shamed into action. Love your honest comments and observations. Keep on truckin"!

Thank you. We both agree about education and believe the government, schools, tv and social media really need to up their game and stop people dropping litter/fly tipping! Name and shame if needed… trying not to rant here! 🤣

So true, you see so many of these “adventure trucks” all shiny and polished with massive big knobbly tyres on … and I just think… am I the crazy one or are people not using the trucks what they’re made for! 🤷🏽‍♂️

Shame about all the rubbish and that it’s probably locals. Good to see EBE doing some rough stuff. Thought you might have fitted a camera underneath for the way down to that epic last beach. I was also worried your coat hanger had come off at 19:00 but then saw the roof hatch was open (if that’s still the code)!! 👍🏼🚚🇦🇪

Thank you again.. we’re leaving a mountain camp in the morning so expect some different camera angles mate “just for you” 😉🤣 Yes the hanger is still a thing! Wow that’s an old video.. 😁👍🏼

Much easier in a yacht Dave, sail along the coast, find a nice bay and there’s bound to be a local ready to help you onto the lazy lines he’s installed for your visit. Mind you looks like you’re making use of EBE’s 4x4 capabilities and having an adventure you won’t forget. Keep on trucking mate. We’ll be in Göcek next week👍

I considered boats before we got Ebe.. and they’re too many downsides to them, one being you’re not going to travel inland… plus we love the mountains to much.. but like you say Tony, the 4x4 capability’s do come in handy… like now having breakfast at 1350m looking down on the clouds 😊👍🏼 enjoy ya holiday mate 😋

@@OverlandtraveladventureAnd a yacht is much more difficult to park at a motorway service station when you’re building a new coffee shop! The other problem is half the crew got seasick the last time we sailed down the coast.

Well done Dave and Helen for doing your bit at picking up rubbish. It’s a shame that those that do weren’t there to witness foreigners treating their own country with more respect than they do themselves, as perhaps shame them into thinking twice about doing it in future. You’re great ambassadors for Brits abroad, which sadly can’t be said for all of us.
As you said we have our own fair share of scummy ignorant litter louts and really grates on me being a responsible dog owner is those that bag it and throw their dogs crap in the hedge etc. Far better than not even bother picking it up at all if they’re going to do that.
I used to be a trail guide here in mid Wales and have on many occasion come across McDonalds rappers in remote viewpoints of beauty, where the nearest branch is over an hours drive away, so they obviously haven’t eaten them there. What they do is drive there to look at the view, get bored and start to notice all the crap in their car and then Chuck it out of the window, it makes my blood boil mate and really pisses me off being a country boy, as I expect most of those that do it are townies.
That track was definitely worth the effort to get to that amazingly beautiful beach and a big bonus it being clean and having it to yourselves, no doubt due to its remoteness.
Can’t believe you haven’t got many more subscribers considering your vlogs are so well made.
I eagerly look forward to the next one and once again thanks for sharing your adventures with us on EBE, she a great truck.
    Safe travels and best wishes.😊👍x

    What a shame 😔
Reminds me back in the 70s here in the States. It was like there in Turkey. Until they started the Crying Native American walking around looking at the rubbish. And a big anti litter campaign in the schools
Hopefully Turkey will launch some kind of similar anti littering campaign too 😢

Mate! Don’t get me started!! I live in beautiful County Armagh. The number of McDonald’s bags that are dumped in the orchard county is astounding… Not wishing to stereotype but, I’d hazard a guess that the deposits are not by the mature element of the population… so it’s not just a Turkish thing. There are w⚓️’s everywhere!!! And youths say us old folk ruined the planet 🌎

Yep, frustrating as hell… and WHY…. Makes me want to buy a piece of land, build a wall around it and isolate myself from the rest of the planet… I couldn’t agree more with you, thank you ☺️
