Ahhhh, Kata Beach. My wife and I stayed at the Peach Hills Hotel and I can remember that one night I don't think I have ever laughed so much in my life. We hit one of the local bars one night and had a few beers (a lot actually) and after quite a few hours we made our way back to the hotel via quite a steep road. Just as we left the bar it started to rain very, very heavy and with the mixture of beer, rain, laughter and steep hill we ended up taking one step forward and two steps back. We eventually got to the hotel, very wet, but very entertained by our own madness. When we were at Kata Beach, they didn't have the food stalls, but they do seem a great addition to the lovely beach.

Ah yes, Thai street food. Always looks so appealing in your videos'. And right next to that amazing beach. When I first went to Thailand, the street food I saw wasn't as appealing as that. Little old ladies selling bags of deep fried locusts. Errr. Can't wait to discover the exciting plans.... sounds intriguing!
Ah yes we see here in Phuket that the bigs are super popular but now we tend to avoid them! 😂The street food here was so good and when we were here in 2019 - these markets were not there either!🤗
Nice video, it makes me sentimental. I was there several times before Covid, the street food market took place once a week. Nice to see it's back! Unfortunately, the entry regulations have become even more complicated and expensive in the last few days (further rules and expensive PCR tests on site).
Oh you guys make me miss Thailand so much 💕 That’s new in Kata, never saw many pop up shops like that a couple years back. I have actually been living in Cape Town for a year now and love it so much here! 💕🇿🇦 South African friends here also love Moo-Ping so much as I used to cook for them when we made Braai. 😁 along with many other Thai food. I'm hungry now, and I want to go to that market. Nutella and banana crepes are my favorite Parisian street food, but I was surprised to see it in Phuket. Nutella & mango doesn't sound like they would go together, but I trust your judgement and I'll try it when I'm there. 👍

The main food you eat Minced pork with spicy salad. It's Laab. It's one of the famous Isaan food. And the massaman you eat is more of a chicken or pork curry. Real Chicken Massaman is not like this. You have to find the opportunity to try the real massaman once.😁🙏
Every time I visited Phuket I’d get a Taxi and high tail out of town asap! (Personal preference of cos 🙂) Pls visit “Mai Khao Beach” up to the north or if you hv time spend a day or two in in “Khao Lak“ area, both beaches I swear you will hv miles and miles of pristine beach to yourself (you’re welcome , hv fun and pls be safe out there 😀🍺🍺)

The Massaman doesn't like the original Massaman but it looks like Kang Kari. Normally, we have to take an hour to make this curry. I suggest to try it again in other restaurants.
