If you have a longer level, it is easier to get an accurate level reading by going across both level arms of the piece. I.E. the part before the previous bend and the part you are currently bending (for flat bends with no rotation). Been learning the bend tech bend software in conjunction with my company's new Dragon A400. Great video on the basics of the practical side of the process. Personally I have been loving the machine and how it can mark the bends accurately.
Nice work! And I really appreciate you posting this stuff - very interesting and a good display of Bend-Tech software. Unrelated, another way you can get over the problem with your inclinometer hitting the bender is to leave the stock long and trim it afterward. You've got enough short pieces in the build that you can reuse the cut-off. Naturally, this is probably the first unit you're building so you didn't know this in advance.
If the digi level is zeroed you don’t need a level . Because the Datum set . As long and you don’t move the bender to a different position on your shop floor

That is a dream machine right there

Just curious...why not change the rotation settings to 0-90-0 if that's what your digital angle finder reads? Love the video btw!
Well, if the Angle finder has that feature in it and I don't know about it I'm going to feel real dumb!!!
@@kalebmoney5244 I'm sorry...I wasn't real clear lol. You can change your rotation settings in BT to reflect how your angle finder operates.
@@MrMaxxlevell You have literally changed my life... THANK YOU!!!
