Really love your hydraulic lift bed and the space it gives you underneath for a very practical sitting area. Really useful information provided and your presentation was excellent. Many thanks.😊
Just came across your channel today. Love your design! And yet, after a huge health scare - but going well - we are once again dreaming of buying an RV or camper van. Love the dropping bed. I also agree showers are generally not used as much as people think - even at a campground b/c at a campground, there are usually communal showers. Realizing this was a specific build for four (or 5), my husband (and three grandkids), we need an immediately accessible toilet - not have to have up to 5 minutes to pull out these compostable or portable toilets. We still need the 6' length of the bed and three(!!!) car seats. Is there a solution???
We have practically the same, although we've used 4 actuators. Question - How have you managed the led strip lights under the lower bed? Are they battery operated ones ? Thanks 🙏🏼
No they are connected to the battery system! We ran the wires through conduit and have an area where the excess wire is able to move freely with the bed
😂😂 fair enough! The elevator bed was still super convenient to allow us to have a full size lounge plus a length wise bed for great sleeps, even for two people ☺️
Let us know if you still have questions, we'll answer everything else in the comments!
I have a question. Is James single?

Possible to sit under it ( spacewise) while kids are asleep above?

So glad it was helpful 😊 when we keep a van for us some day we’ll put one it!

A walk in wet bath with toilet should do the trick

A happy Jack bed will be in my next van build
Do it! I'm keen to do another
Currently installing one right now. How did you manage to ventilate the bed?
😊
Looks like the table stays up when you lower for just 2 of you? Also, is there a manual over ride of the system?
We lower the table when it’s just us two. Manual override meaning what exactly? Lol
A manual crank to lower or something if electrical not working?
Looks so comfy
If I had to travel with my kids, I'd rather sleep outside.😂😂😂

Roof top tent for the win! 😂
What if we (me and James) kissed while being crushed by the elevator bed
🙃
Where's the shitter?
Hidden, check the van tour 😉
First to post lol and I was the 2nd thumbs up!
Let’s gooooo 🤙🏻😂
