8:33 always makes me wonder why the devs couldn’t let the Assault Ground Slam a flying foe. My idea is that it’ll knock them down temporarily, the length based on their health. It’ll give them something to do and is in keeping with the class.
@@Crazymrpipz didn’t change my load out from ruthless and carried 2 randoms through decap. It wasn’t fun though. Had to keep disengaging to return to my teammates instead of doing my job smashing mobs as soon as they appear and nuking back line range units.
I really wish these builds would show off Assault vs Chaos, because from what i've played of Assault, fighting chaos is miserable, so much ranged damage and there are much less opportunities for parries and gun strikes(also teleports urgh). At least on Vanguard i can restore my hp through executions, and Sniper is amazing fighting chaos deleting Rubrics in seconds, even the Terminators and Sorcerers. But Assault seems only fun when fighting Nids, would be great if Assault had a way to restore hp like the vanguard, and better melee damage agains Terminus enemies.

Space Marine 2 has taught me something I really didn't see until this game came out. Gamers never stop complaining. Even when you finally deliver a game that basically is a love letter to gamers and 40k nerds. People still fucking complain. It just shows you there is a difference between people who love games and gamers (try hards). I mean, you literally have people complaining about not being able to pass a level on a certain difficulty. Like, "This game must suck because I can't beat it.)
I picked assault as my first class and its been tough. Maybe that's the problem. Its not a great first class. I crush on lower difficulty, but struggle at higher ones. I'd like to think I am a good assault player. Smash swarms, gun strike and parry, etc. But, its been a tough grind for sure. I hope I get better soon.
I hate tight formation because it punishes class diversity. Especially since the range is so unforgiving. You have to be literally right next to each other
Assault has really huge survivability problems on the new difficulty because of how much nearly unavoidable damage you recieve from ranged units...plus that tight formation stuff...not as fun to play as usual. Though with bulwark in the team it gets at least bearable. And the countershot damage team perk comes really handy.
That and the fact that the Jump Pack on PVE multiplayer is TRASH TRASH TRASH. You literally jump vertically the height of your character and the cool downs are insanely long.
Another banger Pips these builds you put together are insane. I used your Bulwark build to carry myself & some randoms thru the first 6 missions on Lethal difficulty. I'm gonna try this bad boy out & hopefully complete the last mission & get my helmet, sword skin and the new knee emblems. My only complaints about the update are the knee emblems should be available per mission completed. I don't think you should have to complete all 7 missions to get all of them. Also I think you should be able to get armor back once your entire team goes down. The way it is currently it's like you get punished for being the last man standing. As always bro, great content keep up the good work brother.
After 13 years of Assault Jump Pack goodness playing Exterminatus in SM1, I just refuse to accept the absurd, ridiculous joke that is the Jump Pack in SM2 PVE. The Jump Pack is the class defining feature. I absolutely LOVE SM2, but sorry fanbois, the Assault in SM2 is a joke with the Jump Pack being trash in PVE Multiplayer. You can’t even clear a jump onto terrain at head height right next to your character. Not to mention the cool down on the pack is ridiculously long. What a joke. I have to assume all the streamers that just discovered 40K via SM2 never played a proper Jump Pack experience in SM1 Exterminatus game mode.
Make it how it was in the campain. Shit was fun as he'll and the only real replay value. Insane height, and fast recharge. You could power dodge and not feel like you just wasted a charge!
It's crazy how bad the jetpack is vs the main campaign, you can't even launch yourself off a ledge with it, you have to drop first, and it's terrible at going up slopes, it's so janky. Meanwhile Vanguard can use grapple to move himself to higher/lower platforms and even across wide gaps.

I hope they do the map work for the new horde mode to allow a proper Jump Pack experience in all its glory like we see in campaign and like we see in Space Marine 1 Exterminatus game mode. I have a feeling the Jump Pack being nerfed for multi was because they’d have to make all the Operations maps Jump Pack compatible and that would require a lot of work that they didn’t want to put in. Let’s hope they put in the work for Horde mode.
On lethal difficulty, at a minimum, armor should replenish normally when you are the LAST BROThER StANdInG! Trying to clutch when it’s impossible to regen armor is tough, you guys.

Quick question: playing for a month now mouse and keyboard, and this will sound ridiculous, but what exactly triggers a gun strike and which action to set in controls administers it (or combo to push)
Gunstrikes occur after you perfect parry or dodge an enemy majoris or extremis, or when you stagger minoris via heavy hits or parrying. You should be able to just put toward the enemy and click to fire and you will go into a gunstrike animation. Gunstrikes also don’t waste ammunition, and they do a ton of dmaage
@@samuelludescher6978 Thx. Ever so often i see the small red crosshair and fire but nothing happens, so to this day i cant tell if itll work or not, or which random factors come to play. Like must I stand still, switch to sidearm or do I have to focus the crosshaired enemy (e.g a Ravener spinning around) again manually to make the gun strike animation start by fire. Cant play the melee classes because of this and probably never see Lethal mode clear
@DFENS-dx1ns bro are you using ultrawide borderless, i played my first 70 hours completely unable to gunstrike, theres a bug that no one seems to know about that isnt getting attention, i found it out myself by switching the game to single monitor resolution and going to fullscreen i believe This should also fix you being unable to lock on to enemies, assuming you have that bug(i did) Hope i fixed it for you

@DFENS-dx1ns yeah if it doesnt work definitely make sure resolution is 1920 x 1080, maybe it has to do with that, i cant even fathom why theres a bug with not being able to gunstrike because of one of these reasons, but its definitely there Also its 100% not you missing the gunstrike window, the window lasts the entire time the red crosshair is on the enemy so its very generous Also yw happy to help(hopefully it worked)
This was the last straw of patience. Modern developers are completely blind and deaf. They don't try their product. From now on, buying a game will only make sense a year after the release, and only the release. No beta tests. Let them go to work at the factory, let them cut their fees to such a size that only enthusiasts remain in the industry.

Sure, let's risk wasting a charge on a dodge just to have the same amount of charges if successful when I have 50% increase dodge anyways. Those feel like a badly put together combo. IMO it's a waste of 2 perk slots when the final perk is supposed to bring a class together. Much better to increase jump damage for more energy to chain more jumps.

@@flakcannon722little over reaction from the poster but you clearly have not played the difficulty, the radius is ridiculously small. The first large staircase on decap, if you stand on either side at the top is outside the radius. A minoris can pounce you from longer range.

Tight formation is the only thing that matters on lethal. It neuters the shit out of assault and vanguard. Makes gameplay feel bad.

Level 25 all classes, finished all stages too got the survivor helm as well. My only complaint is I want more. 😂 cant wait for the dec update!

It's a perk that gives 10 percent recharge to the tactical per enemy killed with ground pound
not a fan of honed precision (accuracy without aiming), rather take gun strike reload for the heavy pistol

Setup is "Ok" but not that great for Lethal play.
Not sure why he doesn't use commitment and aerial grace? These are iconic and basically put assault on god mode.

People are complaining about the tight formation? Just don't get hit so much while you're far away. That's the point of a new difficulty.
