I'm currently fighting a combination of a Brey-Krause mount, Ricaro sliders, Sparco sidemount brackets and a Cobra seat, with a Vetteworks Sharkbar harness bar. I'm more amazed that I thought all of these things would play nice together than disappointed that they don't.
I can see how that would go. I was being a basic boi and just copied what people on the track had, or what "will this seat fit" thread on Corvette Forum had.
Why leave the factory seat belts in? Are you planning on setting up dual belts? If so how did you mount the receiver and did you run it through the hole or wedge between the seat and tunnel?
The car is a street car that goes on the track. If I know I'm not going to drive on the track for a while I put the stock seats back in. I don't use stock belt with fixed seat.

'Promosm' 🔥
6 days until I’m back at the track testing out the seat/harness. I do have to learn the new track though.
