Just a few months ago, I was at Kambaramba villages along the Mighty Sepik River & most of the crocodiles about 10 feet to over 22 feet long are caught in the water with bare hands. Some 50 years ago I had to go through a traditional, customary ceremony & a sacred ritual to be taught how to catch live, wild crocodiles. Kambaramba villagers have been doing this for thousands of years. I am saving some monies to buy a decent water proof camera to record & do a documentary but first I will need to get general clearance from all our old forks (not many left) & village elders to record such events for media publicity. I know the traditional, customary ritual cannot be recorded and played to the public but the actual catching of both fresh water & salt water crocodiles can be recorded and played without any editing. I hope to build a 3 star hotel with about 120 rooms & facilities for internal & overseas tourists to visit Kambaramba villages and surrounding villages too, even visit the famous Kambot village to buy story boards & other artifacts, visit Karawari Lodge and other parts of the Mighty Sepik River.
