- Big Mike the Messenger is sharing a moment of celebration for being celibate for 8 years!!! This will be the first of many videos explaining the benefits of celibacy as well as the struggles he face being obedient to God.
Our society needs more men of dedication, courage, faith, and integrity like this.

This is very encouraging. I was told by someone who is a minister (I was dating) who does not practice celibacy that there is not 1 man in the world who is celibate. My response: with men things are impossible, with God all things are possible. This video is proof. Thanks for sharing.

@@BigMiketheMessenger it hasn't easy man. Going on 2 years and it feels like hell... I don't even watch porn it's so hard ... I have 5 kids and am now divorced I'm a single dad and going "cold turkey is tough" I choose too. I've had "opportunities" and said no and it sucks!!!.. God help me

@Keletso I didn't make celibate this long without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has been my strength through the process. It's important for me to explain to you that I'm not celibate based on my strength alone. God did it!

Sex was controlling my life so God intervened and put me in my place. I was a motorcycle Policeman and got hit by a car on duty. Spent two years in bed while having thirty three surgeries and was struggling horribly. I picked up my Bible and read the book of Job. Made me realize how far from Christ I had gotten. Turned myself over to him on my birthday 2004 and haven’t had sex since. My daughter has Autism and is 27 years old. I’ve never left her side since she was born and have raised her alone through all this. The lord is my strength and my daughter is my motivation. I live them both dearly. I really enjoyed your video. Your an intelligent man with a level head. God Bless you and rest assured that tonight and every night you’ll be included in my prayers. Keep looking up, Christ is returning soon. Been celibate for 3 years now, i have never been so great. There is definitely no way back, i am reading, learning, increasing my wealthy, having free time, peace and clarity like never before. And this will only go on and on higher and higher.

Good on you!!! I can relate to everything you said in this video. I’ve been ‘Almost Celibate’ now for 3 years and my life couldn’t be better! Sex isn’t everything society brainwashes you into believing it is. I went from having regular sex to now only having sex about 5 times a year. The reason is it’s no longer a priority of mine because I’m destined for bigger things and I lost myself in the endless hookups and it distracting me from more important things. I’ve been working on myself, creating amazing experiences with friends I’m always doing something new and I discovered my passion for snorkelling and inner growth. I’m now earning SO MUCH MONEY creating passive income and my mind feels more at ease not going on boring, time wasting dates with guys who don’t care about me and having meaningless, empty sex. I want to now draw closer to God.
@Nicole Congratulations on your 3 years of discipline to be celibate. As you continue to draw closer to God, just know that God wants your attention and obedience. Be aware of all the religious people. God wants the personal relationship with you. The religious ones will make you think you need them to get to God, avoid those people at all costs. Your journey will get easier as long as you stay focused on pleasing God and not people. Let's build Heaven on Earth.

just to add insight from a different perspective, I wouldn't describe my experience as being difficult. sexual urges are extremely powerful, but having high standards as well as the courage to challenge myself and other people has been an even stronger force.
if you have truly become disgusted with the lifestyle that you have been living, the idea of having sex with anyone in the same lifestyle will probably be very unattractive no matter how sexy they are. having sex with them, at that point, dehumanizes them to what is essentially cum bucket except loaded with problems.
I have never really had issues not treating women that way 🤷🏼
The struggle for me was adjusting to higher standards for myself, since I grew up in a family and an environment where the standards were so low. Congratulations on your journey. Keep pushing. The benefits are worth it.

I felt the same way people talked bad about me down ti me i was broken i fixed myself fir six months internally worked in all my problems and fàsted every day for a month and then ate every fuve days after that i wss broken and drank herbs then i woke up one day i felt like working out i eas depressed i healed myself o eas on unemployment god mafe that so i could heal myself lick my wounds

I don’t like it but I’m going through it. It’s the hardest thing to endure. Being celibate has its perks but my God I wouldn’t wish this life style on no one. It’s so hard. But I just keep busy, praying reading my Bible & doing self help lessons on you tube , reading self help books & just continue to be transparent with myself, God & others. I don’t like being celibate at all 😡 but I imagine I wouldn’t like spending eternity in hell either. So I’ll obey Gods word & wait till he presents me to the husband he has for me.
@MZANN365 It's not easy by any means, but it's worth the relationship with God. It's a battle of doing things God's way vs doing things our way. The difference is God's way will keep us protected and doing things our way has a high potential to lead us to disaster. The big picture is simple...do things God's way (which is to God's standards) and He will protect, provide, produce, teach amongst other things to bless us in maintaining a happy peaceful life within His Covenant. As you maintain obedience God will continue to bless you, because you've proven that He can trust you. However; when you choose to do things your way....you break God's Covenant to you and your life is open and unprotected for anything to attack and overwhelm you.

I don't do it for religious reason but I feel free from a weight. I had great fun meeting women, some have acused me of being a hoe lol Use to meet them everywhere the mall, the metro, kiss and slept with some the same day. Then time change online dating became in vogue, I ajust and found reasonnable succes as well. I found no reason to continye even ask my self why I did that to start with. The sex was interesting but could never satisfy me, I use to refused any kinky stuff, just wanted an other name in my notes. Why continue something I don't enjoy ?! For now and for sometimes to come I will try the celibacy life.

@Paul Johnson LOL! It's more about learning how to manage your impulses, desires, and other physical urges. It is a challenge!!! But you'll become the master of yourself instead of a slave to your temptations and self-destructive behaviors. In the end, you'll be more mature and have a healthier life holistically.

Focus on being better than you were last year, because focusing on someone else is pointless (everyone has a different story and started from a different position in this journey we call life).

The great JAIN story of Vijay rich.
When on this earth highly worshiped by Angels, angel Kings, humans, human Kings the daybright divine sun of extreme and total knowlege 24th Tirthankar Bhagvan Mahavir was preaching JAINISM, a great personality named VIJAY, a rich used to live. Once he was listening to the religious doctrine of jainism being sermonized by a Jain Saint. His holiness was explaining the importance and great glory of celibacy. Then vijay rich vowed to keep after marriage celibacy in 2nd 15 days of the month for his full life. One day he was married to the daughter Vijaya of a rich person. After marriage customs when vijay rich went to his wife she welcomed him well. Then Vijay rich said you will have to wait for a few days because my pledge of celebacy will be over with this half of the month. On listening to it her eyes got wet and tears started flowing out... --- Are you so weak, can't stop for a few days that you brought tears in your eyes ? --- No my lord ! this is not. The fact is when your vow will be over for 2nd half of the month mine will start the next day. I have also pledge for first fifteen days of the month. Now you go for a new marriage. Your wish cannot be fulfilled with me..-... What will you do then ? ...... I will live as your servant for life... --Am I so weak ? when you can live as celibate for the whole life why can't I ? I will also be a celebate for full life. Now we are brother and sister from heart but husband and wife for others. Our this fact must be a secret. Both slept that night on the same one bed with iron like strong determination of their respective vows and did not touch each other. One two four fifteen days one month over and they used to sleep at the same one bed and their celibacy kept getting bright over bright like a true diamond. A few years passed.
Once another rich and faithful devotee to religion personality dreamt a night that he will serve food upon fast completion of 84,000 saints together at once. Next day a great saint whose divine sun of extreme knowledge had risen happened to stay at a nearby place. He used to know the thoughts of every angel, human, animal and bird every moment by virtue of great dedication to his real Saint life. Then that faithful rich went for doing his great bow feelings and listening sermons near him. When discourse was over he said about his dream and asked how his wish be accomplished. Then the great saint replied this is impossible that so vast number of Saints get together at one place because saint life is in walking not staying at any place for more than a few days. And over it they don't accept food prepared for them. --- How will then my wish be accomplished ? Then the great saint replied if a married couple living in celibacy like brother sister right from the first night sleeping in the same one bed are fed with great trust and respect once even, the same amount of virtue can be earned equivalent to one serving of food to 84,000 Saints upon completion of their fasts. --- Who are they great ? -----Then the great saint disclosed the names of Vijay and Vijaya rich. He went to them and said full story and invited with great faith and bow. He served them very happily with full faith and high respect in accordance with their accepted rules and limitations.
Upon realising their secret has got known to others so this is the time that they accept saintlife. Vijay and Vijaya started practicing Jain saint vows which is extremely tough and no less than chewing iron grams and walking bare feet on the sharp edge side of a sword.
By listening, reading and remembering again and again this great story with full trust and devotion many of the sins of humans get washed.

@chirag Chawla I'm not an expert of celibacy by any means. However; my commitment to God was my main focus. The level of commitment to being obedient to God required me to a higher standard about sex. I realized it also was a form of protection from drama, unwanted pregnancy, STDs, unhealthy soul-ties, perpetual generational cycles of poverty and abuse.......the list goes on. I'm not sure if you have faith in God, but I have the help of the Holy Spirit. Attempting to be celibate with my strength has failed me many times. I can only tell you what works for me. If you're open to it, I'm happy to share.

@Casey Lee Everything is going well. The journey is continuous...I'm coming up on 12 years of celibacy and counting. I also fumbled on my first few attempts and had to reset. Congratulations on hitting your 10 year milestone.

God is my source. He is the power that gives me strength and guides my spiritual journey. Without Him this celibacy life would not be possible.

I tried the celibacy thing and I found myself “ taking care of myself” or having wet dreams.
@What tha f*** It's normal to "take care of yourself ". I still "take care of myself". "Taking care of yourself" is healthy for you. People are going to get "religious" and tell you "YOU SHOULDN'T MASTERBATE, IT'S A SIN".....truth is...its not a sin. It's healthy for you. It helps you manage stress, regulate hormones, and keeps you out of desperate situations. The "wet dreams" is your bodies way of "releasing" automatically, because you did not manually release. Try celibacy again. It's more about making sure that you can focus on improving your life by minimizing the distractions of "your physical desires". It can help you see the opposite sex from a healthy perspective of them being a person of value, instead of a tool to scratch an itch. I have been able to establish healthy genuine relationships with females. No hidden agenda. Just friends, who want to support each other because they are good people.

Sex is so fraught with problems - emotional and physical. You only have one body and really you often can't trust anyone else with it.
Sex is beautiful! Unauthorized sex is the problem. Sex is God's wedding gift to married couples. When we have sex outside of the institutionalization structure of marriage it will destroy communities and countries. It's the abuse and perversion of sex that's negative.

But every time I contemplate having sex, I think “you’ve come this far, why ruin your track record” then there’s also soul ties and getting rid of demons, so really not worth it for a night of pleasure followed by the guilt and condemnation of the devil.

Yes, you can be an atheist and experience the benefits celibacy. Celibacy is a principle. A principle is a transferable truth. Which means, who ever applies it will experience some of the benefits (whether you believe in God or not). Celibacy helps preserve your potential, protects you from sexual diseases, gives you mental clarity...the list goes on.

Young people in the 20's-30's don't realize that this is when they are at their sexual peak, why become celibate? Sex is not wrong, it is pleasurable, Just be responsible and pick the right partners . Wake up people, once you reach a certain age, you will lose your stamina and then you will be an old, celibate person regretting what you missed.
