They look cool, but I don't know being a BIG Guy and wanting to bring some gear and lunch etc. so it might be the best fit. But IF I was a much smaller person, I would consider it. I also like that light weight of it.
I really want one of these as my throw and go small lake ponds and river do it all - but I’m not sure it’s the right one for that. But I’d looooove to be wrong. I want it so bad.😂
I have a SKF. It definitely wants for some foot pegs. Fortunately, Bonafide does have some that are relatively cheap. I bought it for small water limited access ponds and lakes. My biggest frustration is how much you are at the mercy of the wind. I put a power pole on the back to help with that. I suspect that a U10 is in my future.
What do you think about the SKF for small creek/river floats? Really like the open deck concept for chill floats but also capable of motoring for some lakes and such.
Guys, just wanna correct ya on the K Craft weight, you say total weight is 63lbs, but it isn't. Total weight is 75lbs. They only list the weight of the plastic to make it... don't believe me, put it on a scale. I'd love to see your reaction to the real weight.
Is that because of the seat and bar? Or the hull itself? It’s listed everywhere at 63? Kinda lame if that’s the case cuz Im not taking a scale with me to do reviews lol
@aaanglers mine was just the seat model! With the rail it would be even more. And yessir, everything else is what adds up, rails, pads, screws. I wanted to love the K Craft, but not at that weight. Mine was 75.4lbs on an extremely accurate scale. Jackson and Bonafide are dead on with listed weight, but Crescent doesn't seem to want to tell it... even to the point of deleting posts on social media.....
I hate one handed paddles and who wants to paddle sitting down without a double paddle? Why not get a long kayak paddle? Long enough and you can paddle sitting down and standing up.
Which hybrid wins? Crescent or Bonafide?
Crescent hands down
Man idk they're both sexy. How's the seat in the Crescent??
Bonafide has an edge on the seat but not by much
Crescent
Had my eye on the SKF thinking it might be perfect for redfish back in the skinny TX marshes
Great video. You guys need to try the Kaku kayaks and SUP. One of the most stable boats out there.
Will do once we find a demo spot!
As a minimalist angler that ends up using just one rod at small lakes and rivers, that KCraft looks perfect. Now I need to find some dough.😅
Both look cool. With my decreasing sense of balance ass get older, probably not ideal for me. They look like a lot of fun.

I felt okay on it at 6’1, 230 lbs. but I agree

🙌
These remind me of the kaku zulu ive been eyeing for a few weeks now.

I think it is ideal for that
12 hundo for something you can sit stand and paddle is a steal
You guys plan to test out that sit inside explorer thing bonafide makes?
Probably not, there is no way for us to get our hands on one right now. Bonafide doesn't work with us, and I haven't seen it at local dealers.
The stand up metal handle is on backwards on the crescent.
Welp, thats just how it was when we demoed it… interesting
You guys should review the vibe uptown 100 lite.
Bonifide fall short for not putting the peddle on it. I have been on the Hobie Lynx since it came out.
What kinda shoes r yall wearing?
Under Armour Deck Boot
Check out the lite skiff air with a 9.8 tohatsu
Will do!
would the hobie lynx fall into this competition or is just too different then these 2? a lot more expensive as well.
It’s in a different category for sure, especially since it’s pedal
@@aaanglers that makes sense....really like these videos. thank you

Aren’t these just hybrid paddle boards? I have a vibe cubera
Hybrid skiff because the are motor ready and have a seat. But you could argue either way
I have a Cubera as well. I like it as well as anything I’ve paddled. Stable, maneuverable and moves easy enough.
Throw a pillow case over that stand up bar and you have a sail.
pirates of the Caribbean!
I really want to like these but ultimately not for me. Pretty sure I would fall when I stand to pee in the waves.
Definitely not as stable as most kayaks

Theyre really efficient with a motor
