I have attended dozens of concerts performed by notable Christian musicians and there is always a "cause" that they promote (usually third world missions), despite the mission field in our own backyard; a mission field full of brokenness that not many famous Kingdom people want to discuss. Silence is condemnation, not restoration. I work (have for 13 years) at John's first pregnancy help organization and we are so disheartened being the "cause that no one wants" to be associated. It's easier to talk about sex trafficking and digging wells and ignore the fact that the enemy has a foothold on our culture and sadly the church. When God's people stand up as a unified force, we will see change and our Father's heart will no longer break. The thief is here - he kills and destroys the weakest among us and the very image of God. I commend you for answering God's call on your heart and I encourage you to keep going...deeper still.
