    I feel you! I’m a nursing home nurse and it’s majority not the staff but the way the patients speak to us. Let it be known that nursing home age is now 40-60 due to the way their lifestyle was..so yeah I completely understood the last comment.

      Really, y'all know about her Too? I even thought I was the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of NCLEX Exam, Mrs ELISABETH has brought me out of the trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with her.

      After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew i could ever pass the NCLEX but today I am very happy, I just passed my NCLEX on my third attempt with a great help from Miss ELISABETH HELEN.❤️❤️❤️

      Thanks to my friend that introduce me to her last week. Am happy the way she process her materials and how you will prepare yourself too for your coming exams. Even with the New update That’s coming up soon, She gave me me a clue of how the exam might come up for me and how I need to study Incase I schedule my test any time.

    I've been a nurse for 17 years and just transitioned to the OR! Glad we don't have that early start mess...wow! Never heard of that, we have a night shift that will do that. My OR residency is 7 to 9 months for everyone. I chose Ortho too and love it! Also no contract requirement. I start working 3x12s soon, with 6 days off at a time, no weekends. My husband is an OR travel nurse!

      Same at my facility. We don’t have early start. We do have late start, which we use as an in-service opportunity. If no in-service, we just chill until the 9:00 cases. I also chose ortho and vascular as my secondary

    They do that early start time at my job too. I come in at different times everyday 6, 615, 630 or my normal time which is 7.
    I agree with that last statement, its not the job or patients, its the staff. Just mean and bitter sometimes for no reason. Gotta have thick skin in the OR

    We have early starts where our shift is 7:30 and case starts at 7:30 so the night shift will get the room ready and bring the patient in or the 7AM shift brings the patient in. I cant imagine being off of work and calling work in regard to work business… that’s crazy. But yea you do need to be clocked in and changed into OR attire by the start or your shift not just walking in. But it’s different for us because we need to change into hospital provided scrub’s. I think y’all are being played.

    That was a jewel about the part time situation. I'm going to do that! We just started and im already sideyeying these people. Fake mean girl cliquish behavior. Like they trying it. I'm getting my training and going from there because I'm not going back to the floor.

      Girl, I am in the program now and I wanted Part-time sooooooo bad but they hit me with the “If that position becomes available, then you can do Part-time.” So many things that were stated to me before I started and were taken back when it got time for me to be on my own. I am so over this program!!! These two years hopefully fly by 😢

    Oh yeah, the preference sheet/pick list can be so wrong...lol I make my own and have my own sx preference book so I can save time and not hear anyone's mouth.

    Your facility is the exact OPPOSITE of mine. None of what you described happens where I work. Absolutely not. I’m at a level 1 trauma center (the largest in my area) and nope.

    Hello 👋🏼 what do you say or do when the surgeon throws something at you? Or if the surgeon starts cursing you out? I’m an introvert and not confrontational at all 😢 I need advice from someone with experience 🥺
    Thank you ❤

      You need to report them to the higher ups. That is unacceptable. Has this happened to you?

    • @santarose5609
      @santarose5609 6 месяцев назад +2

      Anytime someone threatens you physically or verbally you have the right to remove yourself from the situation and report them. I keep seeing this question like it’s acceptable to have something thrown at you and like surgeons are going to throw things. That is not acceptable or normal.

    Thanks for the info! But im not understanding getting paid double for part time extra day? Technically youd only be working full time if you work an extra day bringing you to 72hours right? Pay rate would be the same right?

    • @GlamGirl0824
      @GlamGirl0824  Год назад +1

      my job offers the same if not over the amount of my base pay if I pick up an extra shift therefore if I do pick up a 3rd day its like getting paid 2 days for only working 1, plus shift diff added, hope that makes sense!
