Hey Can you help me? I have an alienware p18e (17 r1 2015 version) which recently bricked while I was trying to flash an unlocked bios. I have tried so many methods to fix it but non seems to work so far. I tried nvram reset ( removing the ram sticks while its on ) but nothing. I can't extract the bios file (A17( to find the .hdr files. I am almost resorting to buying a new chip. Is there hope? Please share your insight as you appear very knowledgeable
Hello, is there any way to fix the issues with the latest BIOS or force downgrade? The BIOS updates released as from 1.9 seem to be much more unstable and I can't use my laptop on battery or boot it without warming it up by running through CPU diagnostics first.
Hi, you can try to downgrade your BIOS using an older version from Dell. There is a way to force downgrade the BIOS using CMD but I don't remember it, you can search and you will find a solution for sure.
@@wrongchip I did in fact try that and it seems that they disabled forceit. I wouldn't mind getting a bios flasher if it's not too expensive but I've got no idea how to use it.
@@wrongchipI have a question I upgraded the ram on the bios it shows the correct size, frequency but when I’m in windows 11 it shows the old one that was installed even the name?
Amazing sir
Thanks
You're welcome.

@@darkmattersolo2137 Try to reinstall the OS.
@@wrongchip how do you do that is it the same thing as factory reset?
@@darkmattersolo2137 You can do it through a USB drive.
Search for "how to install Windows 11 using a USB drive".
