Weezy please go back and listen to this episode. It’s interesting you have intellectual things in a top 10 but your #1 attribute you really want is to have fun with your partner. Get you some rose quartz. They help attract love. Also, read marriage books. Work as if you already have it. You need to specific in your ask to the universe. He doesn’t have to be rich or wealthy but you should put generous and can afford flights to see you. And the lavish vacations you love.

To start, I love this pod- been tuning in for years. Mandi, I disagree with you when you say men don’t care about how much money you make. Narcissistic men absolutely do! If you make a lot of money, they will hate you for it and try to sabotage you, or they will take the more opportunistic route. Not many people are diagnosed with NPD, but our society breeds narcissism so i felt it was important to mention.

You (Weezy) weren't wrong for stopping but it's a bit disingenuous to act as though her reaction/text afterwards was such a turn off and not due to you, perhaps unintentionally making the situation even more awkward/uncomfortable and not laughing it off like Mandy might have done. You are so thoughtful in so many ways and I hope you look over how the booty discussion can come off- booty stuff is super vulnerable and it sounds like she was a lady who valued hygiene and it was literally just something that happened in the moment which could happen to the most hygienic of people. It felt a little cold and like fuckboi talk, the way a lot of men speak on women they're going to get with and leave if there's one flaw. Especially bc you were trying something new for you I feel like some grace in the situation was due especially when doing something so historically taboo and simultaneously natural. Also just finished this episode (wrote the first comment when I was mostly done) weezy you have EVERY right to stop having sx at ANY POINT and whenever you feel uncomfortable. You can feel your feelings! The way this was communicated to the woman and in this video could have been gentler and more understanding imo/handled differently. Emotions =/= behaviors and communication and I think maybe taking some time to process your disgust and why you felt so turned off when you WERE in the place that that thing could happen before sharing could have been helpful

I feel like wheezy. My last partner was the one who I could be like let’s take a 16 hour road trip and she’d just jump in the car. We’d be out from sun up to sun down nap in the car and get up and open our eyes and do it again.
A previous ex wanted stability a stable 9-5 go, to boxing, come home to me and repeat. Wouldn’t even get a hotel for a staycation because “we have a place to stay right here”. It was boring and I resented her but the other relationship was exhilarating yet so toxic.
If I could have the best of both world stability in my partner that breathes life into and also keeps me on my toes while loving to venture with me I’d be in heaven.

I understand how you feel Weezy being in the hole lol but yeah its to be expected back there. That’s why I think it’s important for not only gay men(bc those are the only ones I know that do a deep clean back there) but anyone who’s planning to do that to do a deep clean if you’re moved by that type stuff bc it can happen and we can’t help it and esp for the person who it’s bein performed on. So if you’re being spontaneous be prepared for the unexpected lol It’s already a bad feeling for the person when stuff like that happens so I’m sure she felt even worse knowing how it affected you too which is why she txtd how she did. She was absolutely insecure abt it. Don’t get out the field when you wanted to play too. I just wanna say too that I disagree with Mandi for saying that no conversation needs to be had because I think for some people it does need to be had in order for everyone to feel comfortable and safe. So if you feel like a conversation needs to be had then maybe you should initiate it. That woman you were dealing with probably wanted to give you that conversation but was unaware of how to initiate it which is why she came as authentic as she was essentially " trauma dumping" on you. Your job is surrounded around conversations like these and being intimate in general, so it's a lot easier for you to know how to talk about certain things and to have segways into these conversations. But it's not like that for everybody and especially if you're saying that she is foreign. Then she might have a different culture (socially) when it comes to intimacy and I think that makes a huge difference.

Started listening earlier this year and became addicted to the show! I legit tell my friends to watch this watch or listen to the podcast to get a better understanding of women and sex in general. Plus finding out that mandi is a fellow Lehman alumnus doesn't hurt!
I kinda agree more with wheezy about people being open and communicating when something grosses happens during sex. I understand Mandi point about understanding that during certain acts there's bound to be smells or accidents but trying to act like it's nothing makes it worse in my opinion.
I had a ex who didn't do a self check before we had sex and while i was hitting from behind i smelled straight stank ass! We had be together for years But I had never experienced that before. I powered through so that she could finish. But once I knew she was good I stopped. I told her afterwards what happened and she actually got pissed at me I was young then so I didn't know how to really vocalize how I felt about that situation. But I know I was thinking at that time. Why are you mad at me? I'm the one that had to smell your stinking ass 😂😂.
At the end of the day I don't think there's anything wrong with bringing this up to her and I tried to do it in a way that was nice and not mean. now is rare that I'll ever have sex without me and my wife showering beforehand, but if we're out somewhere and we try to sneak it in, I understand that things may not be as fresh as they would have been as if we had a chance to shower. But you should know your own body or understand if you need to go to the bathroom and freshen up or if you just need to maybe wait until you get home so you don't ruin the mood.

I think showering before sex depends on who you're with. I've been long term with a guy who was clean and we could comfortably mess around in the car and do all those fun things. I've also been long term (actually during the pandemic) with a guy who didn't really have B.O. but I needed us to freshen up down there and orally before getting to it, and he wouldn't take it well bc it would remove the spontaneity of things.
