Smaller studios are truly delivering great games right now. Just learned about this, Valheim, and dyson sphere last week, and all seems really interesting!
This studio consistently puts out quality top down games. Neon Chrome is one of my my favorite isometric twin stick shooters, especially in couch co-op.
I just found your channel and wanted to say that this review was fantastic, straight to the point, and I really like your valuing system. That's a refreshing and effective way to rate a game, especially in it's early access stages. Subcribed and thumbed up, keep it up!
I've been playing Dysmantle since the early days, gave it a rest for several months, and picked it up again. They've tweaked the mechanics a bit to make the early stages a bit easier. It's now 90% complete. There are a number of secrets on the island (which is enormous) and some hideously difficult monsters later on. The story which is unfolding is pretty cool, and there's a minigame called Gembine which is also pretty addictive. You can win materials through playing it which give you experience when you store them. I'm rather obsessed with it at the moment.
@@Bluesuit I liked it to begin with, but I soon played all the content then available. Now there's so much content, and what with the Ark sidequest and all those tomb puzzles plus the minigame, looks like I'll be playing it for a while yet. Since you bought it, you might as well give it another try.
Great man! I just found the last stand aftermath and thought that it would be cool if it has more complexity, open world and Couch coop and... Here i am :)! I bought it today because of your review. I work much and enjoy "laid-back" survival games. So I hope this is the right thing for me! Thanks for your video!
They got me with the summer sale lol. Installing now. I am a HUUUUUGE fan of Project Zomboid and this gives me some of those vibes. Isometric survival in general is my thing... heck Isometric games period lol. I guess Zelda rubbed off in a major way at a young age idk 🤣
“There’s even a perk that gives you more perks” I’ve only seen the perk that allows you a larger selection of perks to pick from each level. Is that what he’s talking about?
I might be a hater, but I find it cringey the ending when you say peace. Your video is like 10/10 besides that. I'm subbing nonetheless you have a great voice, pacing and focus on the correct things!
@@Bluesuit Let's hope so, i love the graphic, so far. As you have played it, did you find any broken mechanics/ glitches? Or did you find this clean for a early access game? Since i'm thinking to buy it.
I didn't need to ugrade my crowbar to break a table. In real life, that is. Although I didn't break a table, but I've dismantled parts of buildings to renovate, so yeah, a crowbar can do it. Why do games do stupid things?
Too many annoyances. The entire target lock system is stupid. You're at the whim of the idiot game. You have to run and kite everything, and unless you're locked, you won't attack in the direction of the mob. Unlike literally every single other 10tons game, you don't aim with your mouse cursor which is incredibly stupid. You should just attack in the direction of your mouse cursor, this causes so many annoying issues and is very cumbersome since you're holding down left click the entire game and smashing whatever your character is aimed at. You can't do a heavy attack unless you're locked, no hotkey or ability to do so = dumb. Toggle run is very annoying, turns off randomly. There's no stamina, no point not running, you're running 99% of the time. Like all 10tons game, we're here for a semi decent time, not a long time. Boredom + redundancy + clunk = 5 hours and no longer interested.
reaaaly worth noting. Level Cap is 20 out of 100.. which is fine.. BUT.. final 2 energy cells are NOT obtainable. Essentially after countless hours of playing a Lego game smashing everything in sight, and they feel the courage to work on THE quest of escaping the island. Sorry ! Cockblocked. Developer on steam essentially said game is considered incomplete for 6 months. SORRY. $30 for 0 resolution just lots of repetitious blood.
Yeah I mean that's early access, the game isn't complete yet. it does break down what is and isn't in the game on the steam page. And it's part of the reason the developer is charging less money for the game during early access
@@Bluesuit LESS MONEY! It's more expensive than How To Survive 2 ! the 1st one was amazing. I shoulda played the sequel instead. I can't stand wasting my time for no purpose. Day 1 your video was only review up.. and it was good. wasn't until Day 2 people started to realize they couldn't get anywhere with the quest !
Again, its early access. No one should pick up this game expecting a complete game, but you can get through almost the whole story and a third of the map. That point is made throughout this review and on the steam page. Right now its definitely worth the $17 that is being charged, you even said yourself that you got "countless hours" out of it 🤷♂️
@@Bluesuit i wasted.. 20 some hours on it. being pulled into obsessive compulsive behaviors of destroying everything not want to miss anything. It's 0 reward value in that aspect because there is no hidden secrets; and the reason I can't play World of Warcraft anymore gotta do everything. Well in this case, was watching a small streamer friend play it today, eh, saying 10 hours worth raced way ahead of me staying on track. Watched another person do the same. I quickly changed my gears because I was wasting my time. Wanted to acomplish something. It seriously was a buzzkill like waiting at a traffic light ... thinking the light is going to change, but like an idiot sat with it... I sat with this stupid time waster to realize it was NOTHING but a brick wall where the door couldn't be opened ! and that Quest on the screen .. "Escape The Island ! 2/4 Energy Cores Collected! You can dooo eeee-it." like I was doing something wrong or being an idiot.. No.. just a dead end that suckers are being pulled into with 2 hour played Steam Reviews saying 9/10! GREAT GAME! ... they invested 2 hours and don't know what lies are ahead of them.
@@-RAYZ- i dunno. i pirated it, but it definately wasn't worth my time. Cheat Engine has trainers for it, and can modify level to use Sledgehammer, Axe, Rifle, and Expert Lockpicking, and Generators. even BUILDING. It also ads all resources to your inventory such as Glass and Fuel. Timegated content to allow people to catch up to first 2 Energy Cells is ok i suppose. Longivity hype.

Aaargh i wanna play dyson sphere program so bad!

If your into passion projects made by small Dev Teams I highly suggest Project Zomboid. It’s truly amazing.

Thanks a lot! Holidays almost over, so the next vid will be out in a few days 😊
Best video I ever watched from someone with 620 subscribers. Keep going dude!
Dang thank you so much!! ❤
This is a criminally underrated channel my dude. Keep up the good work. This game looks pretty sweet!
Dude thanks man! 🥳🤙

I've been following the updates, but I haven't played since it first launched. I bet it's %100 better now from what I've read 😄

haha love the intro not pretentious bs love it.
Thanks!
You're actually quite good at this, subbed.
Hey thanks! 😊 🙏
Nice review and on point at what I wanted to hear
Subbed :D
Thank you very much, I'm glad it was helpful! 😊
You deserve more subscribers dude, and I can insure you that you're gonna grow very fast.
Hey thanks a lot!
@@Bluesuit you're legendary bro, loved the video
Found this game on GoG today and I wasn't sure if I should buy it. Now I know that I HAVE to own it! :D
Good review, man!
That's awesome 👌 I hope you enjoy it!

Lol well I really liked dysmantle and they've updated it a bunch since this review. Let me know what you think! 😅
Decided to get the game on sale because of your review . Pretty fun .
I'm glad you're liking it, its even been updated a couple times since my review
I pre-ordered it and I love it! 😃
What a great review! Thank you! The background music, is it from the game?
Wow thanks! Yeah this music is from the game 😄🤌
@@Bluesuit thank you 😄 Saw the game when announced on ps and fortunately it led me to your channel 😁 can’t wait to see you grow! 😁
I'm playing it right now and I love it SO MUCH!!! 😍❤🥰
Ikr it's so addicting! 😁
Just came by this as the game comes out tomorrow on xbox. It looks really good. I hope it's more complete now.
Definitely is, they've been doing a good job of large consistent updates 😁👍
“There’s even a perk that gives you more perks”
I’ve only seen the perk that allows you a larger selection of perks to pick from each level. Is that what he’s talking about?
Yeah and honestly they mightve changed it a bit since this review came out 🙄
30 seconds in:
alright fine i'll play it jeez
🤣🤣🤣

I really enjoyed your review. I’m looking forward to this game coming to console😁
Thanks a lot! This game is solid 👌
Totally worth it!!!
Can you custimize your character? Like change his hair, face etc?
No you cannot sadly, but he is a nameless protagonist so there is a chance that it gets added in. I would definitely love to see this
@@Bluesuit Let's hope so, i love the graphic, so far. As you have played it, did you find any broken mechanics/ glitches? Or did you find this clean for a early access game? Since i'm thinking to buy it.
I didn't find a single bug. It's a mostly finished game and only expected to be in early access for 3-6 months
Really weird observation, but at 0:52 it makes me think you can do number 1 in a coffee mug, but number 2 in a toilet.
😆 then I wonder what you'd use a bathtub for?
That intro card gets me every time 🤣 i must be 5.
XD
Feelsl ike a different kind of How to Survive. I'll wait for it to launch and see what people think :)
I like grindy games
I like it for when im am in the mood to just multitask
Same. I can't just watch shows/movies, I have to be playing something grindy in the background
Buying this for ps5..have a good feeling about this..kinda like diablo i think
Jolly good. Cheers.
can you play this couch co-op?
Nope 🙅🏻 and there currently aren't any plans for it until maybe after early access last time I checked
so this is basically Last Day on Earth on pc

For progression. Also what survival game is lined perfectly to real life?
Real life is mundane so I dont want that on a game lol
2nd Thumbs up!

I haven't bought the game yet but your LITERALLY the only negative comment I've seen on this game 🤔
I am late. I must repent.
typical early youtuber drivel positive review out the gate cuz ya don't make friends being critical!
