- Witchcraft & Wiccan Dolls! A little bit different than my usual content! This video is all about the use of dolls in witchcraft and spell work. I'll be showing you how I make a regular old custom monster high doll repaint into a magical doll, as I recently created a poppet doll for a friend of mine who also practices Wicca.
Doll crafts have a long history which is interlaced with Pagan and Wiccan spellcraft, and I thought I'd do a brief overview on this - although I could have made a video that was hours long, I thought we'd just dip our toes in to see if this is the type of video you guys might like!
As always this is just my experience and my craft, all practitioners are different and valid!!!

Two years ago, I made a poppet to help open new doors in my life. It was just a little rag doll popped, representing me, and it had a key in its hand.
Two or three days later, I just about lost my job. My hours were cut to fifteen a week. That started a job search.
A month later, I was hired at a new and better place. Better hours. Better work. Better people (none of the bullying and toxicity of the previous place.) Better pay.
And, that was to start with. I've been promoted and got a hefty raise since!

Funnily I'm in the middle of making a mini me from a Farrah (???) Ever After High doll, she's eventually going to wear a cold shoulder top and skinny jeans with added "flairs" panels.

Your video was very interesting. When I was a kid I liked media with magic and witches, but I never was into doing witchcraft by myself (mostly because I was risen in catholic family, so stuff like this were "bad"). Now I'm scientist, so craft is not my piece of cake, but I like to learn about new things :)

It’s so interesting to see how different practitioners of the craft use herbs and even dolls in their spell work so I find it very fascinating since I’ve had some varied discussions with other magik users but that’s great to learn another’s point of view. The doll turned out very lovely and I’m sure she’s like a little air freshener/potpourri that smells great and the little basket with toadstools is too cute.

Can I REmake a clay poppet? It kind of got a little smooshed. I wish I'd have baked it (as it's baking clay) but I didn't. Can I reform it and bake it even though I've used it already or do you recommend starting over with a new piece of clay?
If you DO recommend new clay, how do I dispose of it?
What if you don't want to keep them on your altar I keep them in boxes tucked away is that bad?
I'm planning on keeping mine on an altar.
